The Miami Job

I swear to god if I see coach D back, my family and I will strongly consider not renewing our season tickets for the first time in 28 plus years.

The people who want Petrino are not alums I am sure

I can assure you I have at least as many degrees from UM as you do and have donated barrels of money, and Olives it's my number one choice.

Chise,

This is the same guy who went at it with folks who criticized Perry Clark.
Claiming that was the best the UM could do in basketball.
I guess one had to be a UM alum to appreciate that lazy garbage coach.

I'll add to that. This is the same guy who had "I still support Larry Coker" or something along those lines right before he got canned.

This is the guy Miami should hire

Yep.
He's amazing, isn't he?

People really think we're going to hire Petrino WHILE were heading into our probationary period?

Wow. Smh.

When has he been in trouble with the NCAA?

Cheating on your wife is an NCAA violation

Slimy guy. Can't be trusted. That's why he hasn't been interviewed by a major program since.

I prefer an 8 pillars guy who called UM his dream job and then ran off to PUS begging them to hire him after he knew his shady jig was up here and the walls were closing in on him like he was Maxwell Smart.

Al is dead to me. If he doesn't take the job at this point, he'll wish he had.

If PUS comes to it's senses and ultimately wins up rejecting BFA's advances, he's going to rue the day he started all this. I'm way too invested in him being gone at this point. No turning back for me. I'm as all in on him leaving as he is.

This is not going to end well.
This thing about Munchak getting fired today, out of the blue, happened for a reason.
It sounds to me like he wants that PSU job, and Tennessee (who probably wants to go
in a different direction anyways), did him a favor and fired him.
oh boy.

bomb,
All these guys are slimy. THat's a key component to winning at the elite levels.

That's it right there. College football is a dirty business, whether you want to admit it or not. It is as cut throat a profession as they come.

We had our choir boy and the on field results were the same as the 2 mistakes before him.

This ship sailed. Thanks for taking us through the NCAA mess. Now it's time to move on. For everyone.

This

Exactly.

Agreed.

Golden did what he was hired to do; cleaned up Shannons mess, weathered the storm during shapiro's mess, cleaned up the U image, and recruited well considering the circumstances (ncaa mess).

Now that we have some talent (we're just missing depth), it's time to move on. The administration needs to hire someone who has an eye for talent and can take us over the hump. IMO, that points to Butch but there's no way Shalala offers him the job.
