I just want it be over. the wait for Al to make his decision is as bad as waitin for ncaa to come down with their decision. Let the U know so we can move forward of out search.

Its not like its a surprise its an opening. People thought O'Brien was leaving last year and you knew he would bail eventually. Golden has had TONS of time to think about this.

If he was staying we would have known immediately. If they offered, he gone.

This. The offense would be unreal. I'm salivating at the thought of seeing it with Miami-level talent. Regular Saturday tail-stompings dished out at that cruddy stadium we're stuck with in place of the OB.

This is the same guy who went at it with folks who criticized Perry Clark.
Claiming that was the best the UM could do in basketball.
I guess one had to be a UM alum to appreciate that lazy garbage coach.
 
This situation is a ******* joke and an embarassment to the University as a whole. Either way we are being ******* dangled. This is a joke. I am ****ed off. Get the **** out of here Golden.

I think the issue here is that NEITHER team wants Onfrio. It's probably what made Al start looking (or listening in this case) and it's also probably what is causing PSU to not officially offer.

I'm going to keep saying it til I'm blue in the face....Blake needs to get ahead of this thing and announce that the school has chosen to fire Onfrio. That will paint Golden into a corner.

Penn State has a few names they want...Golden is in the mix. Franklin was also in the mix and his team's season just ended today and they supposedly have him lined up for something on Monday. Mike Munchak just got fired and he was supposedly an early rumored name as a Penn State alum. Golden, too, in the mix. Schiano, too, in the mix as an alum.

I gotta assume that Penn State wants to do their due diligence with some of these guys before they go straight to Golden...

With that said, I wish they'd just hire the guy already.
 
This ship sailed. Thanks for taking us through the NCAA mess. Now it's time to move on. For everyone.
