Amari's athleticism and smoothness, Man-Man was prolly a lil bigger and stronger, but that's a good comparison. Yeah, he ended up going to Stillman College, an HBCU in Tuscaloosa. Grades and then injuries and then kids is what I heard.

Doc Holliday (now Marshall Head Coach) got a **** ton of kids from down here to go there, and then was one of Urban's lead recruiters at UF to get all those kids on that title team.

I think Manny Diaz might've been at NC State for a year or so while Dunlap was there. That's where I met Russell Wilson. Dunlap told me they had a kid redshirting that was a crazy person when it came to working out. Said he was gonna be good. He was right. lol

Remember Bobby Washington from Killian? Was committed to Miami at one point. Him and a BUNCH of Killian kids were up there at NC State at the time. They had multiple kids from Dade, multiple kids from Broward, multiple kids from Palm Beach. NC State was CROOTIN CROOTIN down here.

Did in my day as well. In '79, I bought a little house in the 24 hundred block of Thomas - 2 streets off Sheridan and east of 95 and I was fairly sure Liberia was basically across the street. On the north side of Sheridan east of 95 was a large undeveloped area that we used to ride 3 wheelers in - 4 wheelers weren't invented yet! LOL Oakwood and Dave and Busters must be in that area that was once vacant land.

The Oakwood Plaza used to be Atlantis water park back in the 80's and early 90's. They tore it down and built a shopping plaza with a Dave and Busters, Home Depot and a bunch of other crap. I still go to the gym there. Liberia runs from just east of Oakwood to the west side of Phippen Waiters I believe? the other side is considered Dania. I used to live off McKinley and 24th but I moved further south.

Dunlap was a Senior when I was a freshman at Chaminade and he was a man child. I remember thinking that we weren't the same species.

I believe he had 1-2 game winning catches against FSU during his career.

You must not live in Broward county now. The traffic isn't quite as bad as Dade but it's generally pretty terrible.

Except that everyone form Dade is moving north. Florida, as a state is in the midst of a massive population boom. Except in Dade county where the population has been dropping recently. More people are leaving Dade county than moving there.

SWFL is becoming the new hot spot for people moving to Florida FYI. So many people I know has moved to that area in the last 5 years. CHeaper Rent, Less congestion, and a ton of corporations are moving into the area.

The problem with southwest Florida always was the lack of industry. It was always dirt cheap to live there but if you weren't working from home or already retired, there weren't many jobs that actually paid anything. It's starting to change but you better believe that once the good paying jobs start coming around, the cost of living will skyrocket.

What’s going on with Dade? 10-15 years ago always thought of Broward as Dade’s little brother. Just weird year or is this really trending for a specific reason? Dade folks moving north?

Dade and Broward produce the same athletes, Broward schools may have better resources but the kids still have to be developed when they get to college. Thats whats lacking at THEU
