The Battle for Broward

i don't prefer to party in the middle of west dade.

Well I don't really "party" so maybe my preference is different. I don't even drink. I'll go somewhere, grab a bite to eat, lounge and look for a hot 38+ year old divorcee.

I was at the Flanigan's in Doral a few months ago and saw plenty of options.

The chicks I like don't "party".

Remember Bobby Washington from Killian? Was committed to Miami at one point. Him and a BUNCH of Killian kids were up there at NC State at the time. They had multiple kids from Dade, multiple kids from Broward, multiple kids from Palm Beach. NC State was CROOTIN CROOTIN down here.
**** yeah, my cousin Joint from Seminola played for them. Went there from a year of prep school in Connecticut after going to Springs...

Broward putting out more premium Talent in college football and in the league compared to Dade county. Got to retake this area and make it a focal point

Don't think is really fair to say either. At least not 100%. It may not be a majority, but a lot of the kids that play for Aquinas and Heritage are Dade County kids who get scholarships to play there. Heritage has jumped on that train in recently too.

Except that everyone form Dade is moving north. Florida, as a state is in the midst of a massive population boom. Except in Dade county where the population has been dropping recently. More people are leaving Dade county than moving there.

From your mouth to God's ears #MiamiSucksDon'tCome

no one gives a **** about lauderdale. reason why people from Broward claim miami when trying to explain where they're from to outsiders

This has happened to me too many times. "Yeah you from Miami? What part?"...."Delray". WTF!!!!

The Dade kids are a different breed.
Maybe so but broward has had more of the “coveted” kids in recent years at most positions overall imo . Certainly is the case for receivers and dbs in which the top programs readily recruit south Florida for. It’s going to be hard to do it but Miami has got to become more appealing for this area of talent who from the outside looking in most of them seem to want to go to the “it” school. 2017 season was a good look to a certain extent considering we lost the last 3 but 2018 made us take several steps back in the eyes of some of the top broward recruits imo

Miami is the only place where you'll see a smokin' Latina working behind the counter at a **** gas station or car wash. (seen it a couple times actually) And b!tches go to Publix dressed like they're looking for dingaling.

It's also the only place you'll see a green 73 Impala parked next to a Rolls Royce on the beach.

The overall vibe in Miami ****s on Broward.

My friend, you get it.

It's pretty uncommon for the Broward private schools to recruit kids outside the county. There may be a couple here and there but it's not a regular thing.

I go there a lot Coach. Was there last night for dinner with the fam and the women there were fire!

It must be from the East side, cause I live out West and traffic is unbearable any more. And that **** 836 construction that never seems to end???

Look I get it traffic sucks. But people have to stop complaining like traffic is only a thing in Miami. LA, NY, BOS all have way worse traffic than Miami. Only difference separating the two is the public transportation system. I know some people that moved out to ATL a few years back and they moved back to KENDALL because they say the ATL traffic puts that to shame. There are very few options anymore. If you want to live in a big city in the US, traffic is a byproduct. If not, go live in a small town with a small town feel that everything closes at 8pm. I've lived in the Dominican Republic for 6 years, I'm moving back to Miami in September, if you want to see the worst traffic you've ever seen in your life and come within one small freak out away from a heart attack, come over to Santo Domingo and sit in Rush hour traffic here with a million 150cc motorcycles swerving all over the place and where a 3 line highway somehow gets turned in to an 8 lane clusterf***k. We all know what the 836 and Palmetto construction is, corruption and construction kickbacks.
