Sapp making news for being Sapp

Common knowledge you don't call black men boys (racial). Sapp is from the south sorry if she didn't know this. .............

As far as the tip goes until it becomes a crime punishable by jail time to not tip it's optional.
I'm black and I tip well usually way above 20% in part to kill stereotypes. ............long and short of it is this
Sapp probably wouldn't have given a great tip if anything at all anyway that's who he is. If I felt racially offended by something
Said I would walked over to the Manager told them what happened and left end of story I have a right to do that's it's America.

Ps. I would've paid for anything I ate before said comment and no tip would've been given.

I'm sorry... This whole scenario is bull****... Getting offended by "boys" is just an excuse to be a cheap ***. Sorry, it's not 1863, and I'm sure no harm was meant by that server... Any excuse for not tipping is bull****.

Wow, I was just thinking about how smart you are.

typical white man reaction...how dare you be offended about anything my whiteness does for me. Just play football for me and make me happy, don't even think about having any kind of life. And you wonder why people like Sapp don't care to embrace you when they see u in public places.

Who said I'm white??? Now I'm offended. Am I now allowed to be a **** to people over this transgression??

I guess you haven't figured out that since this is the internet...you can be whatever you wanna be from the comfort of your mama's basement

Crowded sports bar. World Cup US match. Sapp was offended because he was not treated like "the man".

"Hey boys what can i get you to drink?"

Offensive? - Yikes

Keep looking for racism and you will keep finding it.

Does not matter. Sapp is the customer. If he doesn't like the way he's being talked to, and tells the waiter/waitress about it, and they keep doing it, it's their fault when they don't get a tip.

LOL @ being offended by the word "boy" but it's okay to refer to other members of your race as "ni**a", "*****" and "hoe".

**** outta here.

Some people just LOOK for a reason to be offended.

There is no indication that she kept doing it. Then he claimed the service was bad. To which she responded he did not complain.

The customer is not always right. Some times the customer is an *******.

.

That's a mutha****in lie cause all my black homeboys call each other "boy" and they don't give 2 ***** if I greet them with the word either.

CONTEXT is everything.

If I walk up to my dudes and say "What's goin on boys? What yall gettin' into tonight?" it's not derogatory and won't be taken as such.
If I walk up to my dude and say "Sit down right here, boy!" it's a totally different story.

The way this naïve little white girl said it WAS NOT DEROGATORY and shouldn't be taken as such. If Sapp took it that way it's because he's an ******* and looks for reasons to *****. (which is exactly how he is)

And did Sapp even say that he was offended? He just didn't wanna be referred to as a boy. He didn't say anything about it being racial, did he?

How ******' stupid would she have sounded if she referred to them as anything else?

"Hey men, what can I get you to drink?"
"Hey sirs, what can I get you to drink?"

I suppose she could've referred to them as "fellas" or is that off limits too? SMH

******** like Sapp are the reason why people in the service industry, who are otherwise harmless, have to watch their tongue every time they deal with a customer.

No matter how meaningless your words are, there will always be that one ******* who will dissect everything you say and find a reason to complain.

Whether you guys think it's offensive is not the point............ who died and made you king of the world? and those same blacks who call each other ***** would be offended if some random white server was like "hey my ****** can I get yall some drinks"
So try again the point is he was offended and none of you on here have a right to tell someone how they should feel. If you've been given some special authority please make the rest of us aware so we can be aware. That way we can call both you guys to make sure it's ok to feel offended lol.......... is this real life

Did he say he was (racially) offended by the word "boy"?

And if you knew Sapp's personality and reputation around these parts then you'd know that he MOST LIKELY was looking for a reason to be an ***.

CONTEXT IS EVERYTHING! <--what don't you understand about that?

Double standards aren't fair blacks can call each other my ninja but most feel uncomfortable with whites saying it......... again common knowledge.........doesn't matter if it's fair it's just real life

I don't have the right to tell anybody how to feel...

But I have the right to call them a sensitive, complaint seeking, douche bag.

Dude he said she called me a boy I'm not a boy only men at this table the ticket said boys don't tip.................... yeah I'd say that meant he was offended by it

Ok but did he take it in a racist context or was he just being macho and didn't like being called a boy?

Do you not know/see the difference.

I'm not black but I can still say I'm offended by being referred to as a boy. You don't have to be black to be offended by "boy", you just have to be a macho douche.

Somebody with the bravado of Sapp would be offended by being called a boy, whether it was in a racial context or not. He never said anything about it offending him racially.

If he said it offended him racially then I would slightly understand, but to my knowledge he hasn't. Therefore, I come to the conclusion that it offended him because he feels like he's a big badass "man" and should be greeted as such. (which is highly likely considering that's his personality)

How 'bout I flip the race card?

What if the server was black and said "What can I get you boys to drink?"

Would he still be offended? Would he have treated that server the same way if she was black? (doubt it)

So now who's the racist?
