The same can be said for the other teams in consideration. That doesn’t just apply to us. All Bama has to do is beat an awful OK team and they got destroyed. No , we had our chances we lost in on the field . Fck that ! I would also send a message to nd and leave them out until they join a conference. . No free passes here
We’re currently at 6. We’d have to drop 7 after losing on the road to a 9 win team by 5 points.Yes but I believe they’ll keep us at 14 tonight so there’s no shot.
I think it should be ole miss not bama .The same can be said for the other teams in consideration. That doesn’t just apply to us. All Bama has to do is beat an awful OK team and they got destroyed.
Just bating the public. No way they do it two years in a row after losing to a horrible OU team by 3 scores a weeks ago.Betting odds are not looking good for us . Bamas highly favored
We need to be ranked 11th tonight right? Or if we are 12th it would need to be AZ state or Iowa ST ahead of us and not have it be bama ole miss or SC right? Bc one of AZ or Iowa St gets an automatic bid. On3 projection had us 12th but bama was 11th so that wouldn't work bc ASU and ISU were behind both and one of those gets in...We’re currently at 6. We’d have to drop 7 after losing on the road to a 9 win team by 5 points.
Bama would have to jump us for beating the 13th best team in the SEC in Tusco. I just don’t see it
On paper, absolutely. Most qualified. Eye test, absolutely not.
Interesting decision. The entire nation would tune in to watch them lose. Only Bama/Ole Miss/SCe fans would watch for their game. Ratings vs Optics.
Can’t put them in over Bama periodSouth Carolina has 3 losses and needed last minute touchdowns to beat Mizzou (awful) and Clemson (mediocre) and trailed midway through the fourth against Old Dominion at home. They are not blowing teams away in a way that makes up the gap of having an extra loss.
IMO, we would be the most viewed game. Entire nation meant anyone who followed CFB. Didn't know I had to specify.First, "the entire nation" is not tuning in (or out) for any of these first-round games.
Depending on who hosts the game (I'm assuming Miami would not get a seed in the 5-8 range), it could be a worthwhile matchup, both in-person and on-TV.
Second, I don't think "eye-test" has any merit here. We are in the "tallest midget" debate territory. Acting like ANY 3-loss team is going to somehow turn into an unbeatable foe is just wrong.
In-game injuries could play a role. Opt-outs could play a role. Portal could play a role. We are in a very uncertain (and parity-driven) environment now.
You can’t play that game.Well, we have anecdotal evidence on Ole Miss for one. They lost at UF, we went into their house and beat them down. Ole Miss would be a tough game, but winnable for sure.
You're holding Bama to the same bar as they've been at for the past decade plus; Saban isn't there anymore.
South Carolina may be the one school that we can't beat, but I haven't watched them at all this year. So I really have no opinion one way or the other on them.
Well, compare us to Ole Miss then. We have a common opponent. We killed UF at home, UF then beat Ole Miss at home. They lost to LSU, UK, and UF. I don’t think you can compare our resumes and say they deserve to be in more with an extra loss.I think it should be ole miss not bama .

I'm the fool yet you think Clemson would curb stomp us. OK bud. You're a fool. You believe we have a good team, which is all the evidence needed to confirm that you're a fool. Clemson would curb stomp us too
