We can beat Bama solely on the chance of Milroe having one of his "what the ****" bad games.

If it were an eye test SoCar would be it but I think they’re sitting 4th after to losing to OM and Bama. OM lost to Kentucky and Florida, who we whooped.
It comes down to Bama and us.
The only question is whether they will do it to the ACC two years in a row. If Saban was still there, I’d go Bama. But he’s not, Therefore the good guys are getting in unless Clemson wins, which I fully except

2.) Miami

That's my take. It's a what-have-you-done-for-me-lately business and Shane Beamer and SoCar are putting on a show. I do believe we get the nod over anyone but SoCar but we could also use some help. A Boise State and SMU win would do. The SEC and BIG10 outcomes are inconsequential for a Miami CFP bid.

I've been torn. Probably a good idea recruitment-wise and from a program-perspective to want to step on a CFP field but like everyone else here, nobody wants to see Guidry's whole *** again. Lean former for the long game but I ain't exactly thrilled.

S Carolina's problem is they have 3 losses like Bama/Ole Miss and they lost to both including get boat raced at home.

Committee isn't going to want to pick amongst the three.

Its Miami at 11th and then Clemson wins and steals our spot.

Counter point- The same Clemson that made the ACC title game this weekend while Miami sits at home and Mizzu is 9-3. Those are better wins than Cal and VT who Miami needed miracles to beat.

Duke is 9-3. Doesn’t make them good. Mizzou got their doors blown off by Bama and TAMU (75-10 combined), they’re a mediocre team propped up by a bad schedule.

And Clemson had a joke of a conference schedule. We played @4, 5, and 6, and 7 and 8 at home. Clemson played 5 at home (blown out) and 8 on the road. We make the conference championship if we flip conference schedules with Clemson.

Not yes but **** yeah....that's all!! UM lost 2 games by 9 points both road games to a 7-5 and a 9-3 teams, also had a chance to win 1 and tie the other at the end of the regulation. So **** yeah!!

Well, compare us to Ole Miss then. We have a common opponent. We killed UF at home, UF then beat Ole Miss at home. They lost to LSU, UK, and UF. I don’t think you can compare our resumes and say they deserve to be in more with an extra loss.

I think 2 of the 4 get in somewhere between #10 and #12. I think we get in along with 1 of the 3 SEC aforementioned SEC teams.

And this regardless if SMU loses - because if SMU loses to Clemson, their two losses are worse than ours. GA Tech going 8OTs with UGA makes that loss look really really good - UGA very well could be the #1 or #2 team in the country after this weekend, depending on what happens in the B1G title game.

I can’t see Cam opting out if we’re in the playoffs.
