DAILY DEBATE: Does Miami deserve to be ranked over Alabama, Ole Miss and South Carolina?

At one point in the season I thought we had a shot against anyone because of the offense, but the defense is just too far gone. Our offense has a tendency to go missing in action too. South Carolina would curb stomp us. All three coaches are significantly better than Mario...yes, Lane too

If the committee actually values head to head and common opponents like they say then South Carolina is out due to losing to both ole miss and Alabama. And whatever common opponents they have. South Carolina won’t be ahead of those two by criteria alone.
Common opponents of UF between Miami and ole miss, we dog walked UF while ole miss lost to them.
Common opponent of USF between Miami and bama, both teams won, which was more decisive my bias says Miami but the committee may say other wise.
They all lost 3 games and they lost bad in some of them too, while Miami lost 2 games on the road by a combined 9 points to one team who’s ranked and the other who took UGA to 8 ******* overtime’s. You can’t overlook that and say “oh well they loss”.

Beamer is a bit of a corch but yes I’ve watched USCe all year they would wreck our defense. All 3 would not sure the offense could keep up

That's not how they examine these things. They look at it as a 4 point loss, on the road, to a 9-3 team, who very well might be ranked tonight. Injuries aside, the result is what matters when the committee puts resumes together.

They consider both, otherwise there would be no question to us getting in over three loss SEC teams. All three teams mentioned will be seen as better than us and deserving a spot over us, guaranteed. Call it SEC bias if you like, but who you play and how you play matters

Florida, will be the new snubbed state. But this one won't be as bad as FSU's snub. I hate to say it but if I were voting, as exciting as Cam is, I just don't think the Canes have shown they can play defense at that level.

More than a few of those teams have a ground and pound running game for sustained drives that would keep him off the field like GT. And they just about all have a much better D.

We needed one more win and this staff couldn't squeeze it out.

If Alabama is in over us they didn't penalize them enough for the 24-3 loss to Oklahoma. Its that simple.

We were 1 spot ahead of them and had a bye (they jumped us after our bye by beating Mercer lol), pounded Wake, and 4 point loss to top 25 syracuse. In that same time period Alabama beat Mercer, embarrassing 21 loss to Oklahoma where they didn't score a TD, and a 2 TD win over Auburn.

Miami's last 3 weeks, from when they were 1 spot ahead of Alabama, have been better on paper.

Logic never wins but it seems pretty clear to me.

I just don’t get this idea that we couldn’t beat any of those 3 teams. Would we? Idk. But none of them would be blowouts.

South Carolina nearly lost to a Missouri team that’s no better than Syracuse at home like 2 weeks ago, needed a last minute touchdown to win. Clemson missed 24 tackles in that game Saturday and they still needed a late 4th quarter touchdown to win. Would anyone severely push back if I said Clemson may be the 4th or 5th best team in the ACC that had a cakewalk schedule in conference? And those are their best wins?

Bama, there’s a million examples. Vandy and Oklahoma didn’t fluke their way into those wins, they just straight up handled them. We would light that defense up.

Ole Miss lost to Florida and Kentucky. They were in a dog fight with 2-10 Mississippi State this past week. We’d be able to air it out on them.

That one loss alone should disqualify Bama. Bama got dog walked by an at best, average OU team.

LOL. They just barely beat a very mediocre Clemson team with a miracle 20+ yard QB TD run on 4th & goal from a mile.

Our "fans" are a combination of simps, cucks, and micro ***** losers.

Thinking about our defense.... FVCK NO. I actually don't want to see us play another game this seadon. Skip the bowl game and focus on recruiting and back-channeling the portal. I mean..... since we're not caple of game planning and recruiting at the same time 🤷🏾‍♂️
