This is how it's done

Nah, Nites you said Saban brought in Jackson, while Golden brought in Williams. How is it Saban lost four straight games with Jackson and Golden didn't even lose back to back games with Williams? Thats a huge QUESTION MARK using your flawed logic.

This entire post is meaningless.

Now you see how stupid you sound.

You're talking about yourself. I haven't said anything about a 4 game losing streak b/c it's meaningless. Atleast you finally see that.

He guys Belichick went for it on fourth down back at his own 28 yard line against the Colts and didn't make it. I question his coaching ability, it was too risky.

SMH

didn't think you could give me one example from 2007 bama simular to what i did when talking about Golden and the questionable things he did this past year.

Nights you didnt answer the question. What do you think of this recruiting class?

Ask me in 2-3 years after they've actually played some games. The only guy i've seen play a full game is duke johnson and he committed to shannon.

LOL! Duke may have committed while Shannon was our head coach, but he didn't commit to Shannon. He committed to the University of Miami, son.

No he committed to RS - because hes projected to be good, if he doesnt pan out it was goldens recruit

First of all, the only thing that is questionable are things that usually don't fit the norm or perception of being the perferred choice. Coaches do questionable things every year, all the time. All coaches, including Saban and Belichick. ****, some people questioned Saban's calls during the first game versus LSU, how did that work out for him at the end of the day? I still don't understand what that has to do with the ability of being good or bad. Your example of Golden's coaching blunders are not questionable situations if you took everything into consideration. You're acting as if all coaches have the same decision to make on and off the field. It doesn't work that way.

and the fact that he is achieved this level of success w/ our putrid performance over the last decade, and the impending sanctions, underscores how organized, focused, and capable the guy is.

The only thing that matters is if he can evlauate, recruit the right type of players and most importantly land these kids. Secondly he needs to surround himself with the right people which also seems to be an issue, IMO, at this point....other wise he's just an organized failure that talks a good game. Ultimatley time will tell one way or another.

Year 1 left alot of question marks soemwhat simular to what you saw with shannon, a first time HC.....some of which you don't expect to see from an experinced HC.

I disagree, at least in emphasis. Evaluations are critical, we agree. But without a plan and organization, you aren't likely to get anywhere in CFB. Recruiting is a complex activity, and luck isn't a strategy. It's an organization-intensive area. At least if you want to give yourself a chance to succeed. So your spin strikes me as wrong. Only in your crack pipe skittles and pederasty world is organized failure who talks a good game some isht that makes sense to talk about. I guess that contrasts with your hero, however, who was a disorganized failure who couldn't talk his way out of a paper bag.

Nites, the point you are missing when these guys referred to Saban was this, 'Do you think there were some questionable calls made by Saban when his team was losing four in a row?'
Your distaste for the coach is way too obvious in what you choose to post about. How can you give them a hard time about consistency, that was the past class's MO for the four years they were here. Especially JH, dude was heisman material one week and the next you had to cut the play book in half. By the way, halftime, is when EVERY coach makes their adjustments! Did RS ever actually make any adjustments? AG is doing a GREAT job I dont care what anyone says. Lokk at the situation logically, sanctions, lack of success and he is still getting kids interested in the U. We may not land anyone else and I will still say this is a very good class. Hit on a couple of these guys and this becomes an unbelievable pull! Get over yourself man. AG is a good coach!

Great 2nd post frostycane.

Golden also had 2 commits at the time he started, thanks to Randy. But no, let's gloss over that fact.

So. Those 2 commits happen to be the frosh who made the most impact along with perryman who was coming hereregardless. Golden was suppose to be the this real coach, this big time recruiter yet none of the guys he brought in did anything. Al-Luios jean decommitted from Miami and Golden, a supposed superstar recruiter, couldn't get him back despite db being a need position. that's failure.

Sure saban walked into 9 commits but only 2 did anything (McClain and Vlachos's) the rest didn't do jack so who cares about those guys? They suck.

2 commits at the time of hire is another meaningless, irelevant peice of info. Can you tell me who Patrick Chump is? Chriss Lett? didn't think so.

You are the best. You don't even try to hide it anymore. Classic.

What were those questionable calls then? If you're aware of questionable things done by the bama coaching staff in year one then enlighten me. Looks to me they played better teams than Miami did as a whole and performed better.

The talent issue was addressed in a major way by saban in year 2 with julio jones, ingram, barret jones, hightower, cody, marcel dareus etc to go along with the guys that were already there. You guys seem to thing purging the roster is best when clearly this has never been the case with any team turning itself around quickly like Miami should. Lot's of young guys played in 2012 let's see if golden can live up to his sababn comparison's in year 2.

Not only that, saban atleast had decent quality win in year one when he beat a talented 10-4 tenn. Put saban at Miami last year and Miami's wins atleast 9 games. Put Golden at bama in 2007 and they lose 2-3 more games.

You aren't going anyhere in cfb if a HC doesn't surround himself with the right people and bring in the right kids. How well you talk and how orginized you are is meaningless and football games aren't won by how well you sound at a press conference.

Saban does not get this team to 9 wins, do you realize how bad our D was? No depth at DL, secondary was the worst I have ever seen from a miami team. Wonder why UM was in such dire straights? Probably because your wonder boy, Shannon was a pathetic excuse for a coach and set us back just as bad as Coker did.

Nites, why do you always defend Shannon?

Is there a point arguing with you. You think Shannon rebuilt Miami.

Nope. But how you talk and act and think at press conferences is revealing. It's revealing of how you talk to players and prospects and their families and coaches and potential coaches, amongst other things. When you are an incoherent blubbering idiot, people pick up on it eventually. Same as when you're a narrow-minded, stubborn prick.

As for organization not mattering, we'll just have to disagree. You're wrong there. It matters.

Saban wins 9 games easily with this team b/c he wouldn't of had the elementary coaching blunders golden and staff had/did vs maryland, K-State and UV. I would be very surprised if Saban hired an overrated clown like coach O.

The only thing that reveals anything is how many games you win. I've never see a HC hired b/c he's sounds fantastic at press confernce at the col. level. Have you? narrow minded stubborn pricks win super bowls/championships while nice guys work as a greeter at Walmarts. They sure sound fantastic don't they?
