This is how it's done

The only thing that matters is if he can evlauate, recruit the right type of players and most importantly land these kids. Secondly he needs to surround himself with the right people which also seems to be an issue, IMO, at this point....other wise he's just an organized failure that talks a good game. Ultimatley time will tell one way or another.

Year 1 left alot of question marks soemwhat simular to what you saw with shannon, a first time HC.....some of which you don't expect to see from an experinced HC.

I disagree, at least in emphasis. Evaluations are critical, we agree. But without a plan and organization, you aren't likely to get anywhere in CFB. Recruiting is a complex activity, and luck isn't a strategy. It's an organization-intensive area. At least if you want to give yourself a chance to succeed. So your spin strikes me as wrong. Only in your crack pipe skittles and pederasty world is organized failure who talks a good game some isht that makes sense to talk about. I guess that contrasts with your hero, however, who was a disorganized failure who couldn't talk his way out of a paper bag.

You aren't going anyhere in cfb if a HC doesn't surround himself with the right people and bring in the right kids. How well you talk and how orginized you are is meaningless and football games aren't won by how well you sound at a press conference.

Nope. But how you talk and act and think at press conferences is revealing. It's revealing of how you talk to players and prospects and their families and coaches and potential coaches, amongst other things. When you are an incoherent blubbering idiot, people pick up on it eventually. Same as when you're a narrow-minded, stubborn prick.

As for organization not mattering, we'll just have to disagree. You're wrong there. It matters.

The only thing that reveals anything is how many games you win. I've never see a HC hired b/c he's sounds fantastic at press confernce at the col. level. Have you? narrow minded stubborn pricks win super bowls/championships while nice guys work as a greeter at Walmarts. They sure sound fantastic don't they?

You obviously fail reading comprehension. I'm guessing you also have no experience running anything. Not sure why I'd expect more from you however.

In any case, if the only thing that reveals anything is how many games you win, not sure why you bother discuss anything. It's a mind-numbingly stupid perspective however. If you don't understand why, I feel sorry for you. Are you this dense, or just incapable of admitting when you're wrong?

Hey nights, Belichick went for it on 4th down on his own 28 yard line against the Colts and didn't get a first down.

Was it a questionable call?

Does it mean he is a questionable coach?

What does it mean?

Golden also had 2 commits at the time he started, thanks to Randy. But no, let's gloss over that fact.

So. Those 2 commits happen to be the frosh who made the most impact along with perryman who was coming hereregardless. Golden was suppose to be the this real coach, this big time recruiter yet none of the guys he brought in did anything. Al-Luios jean decommitted from Miami and Golden, a supposed superstar recruiter, couldn't get him back despite db being a need position. that's failure.

Sure saban walked into 9 commits but only 2 did anything (McClain and Vlachos's) the rest didn't do jack so who cares about those guys? They suck.

2 commits at the time of hire is another meaningless, irelevant peice of info. Can you tell me who Patrick Chump is? Chriss Lett? didn't think so.

You are the best. You don't even try to hide it anymore. Classic.

You couldn't comment on the post so you come up with this? lol

Is there a point arguing with you. You think Shannon rebuilt Miami.

Shannon went 9-4 and had the expectation to take the team to another level in 2010. Despite 10 all acc players, 8 nfl draft picks with some being nfl starters this clown won 7 dam games b/c he failed at other aspects as a coach. he had the players. that's what i'm talking about when I say built. That's below avg football talk. he rebuilt the team ie players but failed as a coach. simple as that.

This "supposed real coach" should have stepped in and won atleast 8-9 games but since he failed yall blame shannon for db's playing 10-15 yards off and bailing, allowing a mlb to cover a 5-8 rb in space on the edge with no S help or replacing Albert Jean Lious with mike williams.

what year was this? what quater was it? Time remaining in game? was this right before the half? we're they down alot of points? who was the QB? Tell me the entire story. If you don't know it then leave it. That's the first part.

Secondly, bellecheck has won something before and is established as a HC. What's has golden ever won, what has he established?

Nites, funny how you say that "organization" is overrated, then go on to suck Saban's **** and Belichick's, who are possibly the two most organized, attention to the smallest details in the game. The only coach I know who had more attention to detail than both of these two was Bill Walsh. Yeah, but you're right. Organization and paying attention to small details is overrated. So what is it? Is attention to detail and organization what made Saban and Belichick great, or was it that they were mad at Press Conferences, even though they speak with proper grammar, syntax and can use proper sentence structure. I could be throwing this question out of the woodworks here, but you completely just contradicted yourself.

I have experience playing football. Obviously you don't. Although some of the principles seem the same, sound nice on a message board and from a "sense" stand point there are alot of huge differences. You can know what you're doing but be disorganized. I've seen it.

You make alot of ignorant assumptions. You think just b/c a someone is successful or to be successful it means they're orginized. Please.

Every coach has a plan...some are organized and some aren't. The most importand trait as a coach is bringing in the right players and surrounding yourself with the right people. Your plan will either work or fail based on the aforementioned.

You wanna praise golden for his orginizational skillz and sounding nice at press conferences. more power two you, that's bottom of the barrle stuff. I'm more interested in who he surrounds himself with and the players he brings in. next would be what I actually see during games ie game day coaching, personel choices etc.

Bottom line is this...he may run the Miami program like a fortune 500 company but if he's going deep to some guy from china with 5.0 speed on saturday afternoons it's curtains son.

Nites will defend Shannon for the next 20 years. My good god man, just realize he was over his head here, and has no business being a head coach unless its in Pee wee football.

Saban and Bellecheck also have great players and surround themselves with good/great people. Being orginized is just icing on the cake, bottom of the barrel type stuff.

Attention to detail is a coaching attribute that is neede by every top nothc coach IMO.

and who said Orginization was overrated? I'm saying it's the least of my worries. learn the difference. I could careless how he sounds at a press confernce, if he has some 800 page book on how to be a hurricane etc etc. Bring in players, surround yourself with the right people and do the right things on game day. that's all that matters.

You do realize that being organized is what leads to everything else, right? Not the other way. It was an organization PLAN that Belichick did what he did. He had a plan for what he does. He doesn't do the opposite. Surrounding himself with the right people and continuity is part of his plan. Everything fits into the PLAN. ORGANIZATION is the FOUNDATION, not the ICING. Everything revolves around it. Shannon had no organization. It's why he had Nix, looked up Whipple on the internet, and had no idea what he was doing, mainly, because he wasn't organized.

Wait....WUT? This single comment tells me all I need to know about Nights. No wonder he's a Shammin fan.

Dude has obviously never had to run an organization larger than himself. Remember folks: create the business plan after you attempt and fail at your enterprise!!! smdh.
