This is the year two thousand and Covid. Those who adjust will survive. They should have all games viewable via payperview. Empt stadium. All players class online. NCAA football survives.
They could easily play golf. Golf courses are still open out here in AZ.
Your welcome.Wow, hadn't seen this before. Amazing detail.
I know they are. Like I said, all Trump Jr. needed was the wink from daddy. Florida will be full steam ahead in no time.
Please clarify your statement.Early peek at data on Gilead coronavirus drug suggests patients are responding to treatment
A Chicago hospital treating severe Covid-19 patients with Gilead's remdesivir is seeing rapid recoveries in fever and respiratory symptoms, STAT has learned.www.statnews.com
The political pressure is going to be too great to ignore.
Tone deaf when it comes to other views in reference to getting sports going....Please clarify your statement.
Unfortunately, all the rednecks care about it is the economy and swallowing whatever nonsense Jim Jones feeds them. And, as dimwitted rednecks typically are, they're too shortsighted to realize that the economy will suffer more if there's a 2nd outbreak that's worse than the first one from ending the restrictions too quickly.
Area of expertise or just hypothetical analyses? There are good points being made from both sides. No need to belittle people because they watch a certain television network or align with a certain political affiliation. (On both sides.)
Anyway.
To bring in the Football metaphor, we are not even at halftime in a hard fought battle against a hated rival.
Hard to predict how things will go either way at this point.
I am leaning towards a late start to the season in neutral sites but you never know what is going to happen next.
If you can't test quickly and thoroughly or come up with a vaccine or effective treatment/cure, then the only people who will be congregating in large tightly packed crowds are redneck hoaxers. Civilized people will not want to be in tight quarters until they're comfortable with widespread testing/vaccine/proven effective treatment.Testing in limited amounts relative to population has been ongoing.
Nation wide, with near real-time results, is right around the corner.
That will ultimately settle how pervasive and deadly this event truly is. If those results are anywhere near acceptable levels, there is no way the country isn't opened as quickly as possible--too many livelihoods, in far greater numbers than mortality, depend on it.
Now, if there area few "holdout" regions, how does the NCAA reconcile that?
Will they canx the entire season because LA says "no games"? Will those teams be accommodated elsewhere?
All rhetorical questions, but ones that will get answered by somebody.
You're in for a witty middle school come back...Bullschitt.
Previously, when this hit - no one had any idea on how to address it. Projected the End Times - and other retards repeated those idiotic projections.
Now we have a known treatment that works - I'd say we actually have two known, effective treatments - with another 33 in the pipeline being tested and those results will be released in the next couple weeks.
Most folks have enough damned sense to maintain some distance standing in line - most PLACES don't have COVID-19 infected folks running around like the cesspools in Detroit, Chicago, and NYC.
We'll discover that many, many people have already HAD the damned virus - and weren't affected. It's not nearly as lethal as they've portrayed - which is why if you fall off the schitter - and break your neck - they count you as a COVID-19 victim. They're lying.
But if anyone is a choker - hide. Hide.
Don't bother taking Vitamin D-3, nor Ascorbic Acid - I mean, don't dare do anything to make you almost invulnerable to a virus.
Can't have that!
