Talk lately has me a little nervous about 2020 football season. Thoughts?

Do you think we will play football in 2020?

Looks like I got new stalker. Keep agitating, weasel. Now run back to the troll thread and try to get me banned.
Is that the go to line for you guys. Now I have a stalker, blah blah blah.
You seem butt hurt.
I know it's tough when life is predicated on attention. Good luck internet tough guy. Your words are meaningless..

QUESTION:

Will YOU go to HRS this Fall...

With vaccine/treatment?

Without vaccine/treatment but wear a mask?

I'll go either way.
I'm probably going to avoid large crowds until there's a vaccine/cure. I don't trust myself around scumbags. If someone coughs or sneezes on me I'd likely choke them to death and then wind up in lockdown.

Keep yapping, redneck. My words are so meaningless, yet here you are following me around and then running back to the troll thread like a dork trying to get me a shot.

Seems like there's a balance between the "we're all going to die" model, which I haven't seen, and the "it's another hoax" model that was bouncing around about a month ago. Seems like the truth is it's a pretty serious virus that will wind up killing a whole lot of people, and that shutting down the country wound up saving hundreds of thousands (potentially millions) of lives. It looks less catastrophic at this point, in largest part, because people started taking it so seriously.

Dam isn't cracking, a large breach has now developed.👇👇👇

Everyone stay safe.

Go Canes!

Not even close to saving hundreds of thousands or millions. My guess: not a single serious academic researcher will support that in the avalanche of papers in the coming 12-24 months.

That however, is for another board.

Go Canes.

College football has a big problem here that pro sports don't have: ADs have to deal with the optics of re-starting football while keeping their other sports shut down. All the guys on here saying that TV revenue would easily cover the costs of all the precautionary measures are probably right (for P5 programs, at least).... But that's not true for the volleyball and swimming and tennis teams. I think there could be a major backlash if they tried to proceed with college football without restarting other college sports.

Yes. As much as he values football and we value football, the AD has to seem impartial and be fair towards all sports and treat them all as a priority.

Way more Revenue comes from tv than tickets and concessions

Ticket sales is the golden goose for college football. And if I'm not mistaken game day revenue -- concessions, parking, merchandising, etc. comes in second. TV deals aren't as profitable as you may think. Unless you're playing in primetime on a major network, college teams ain't making that kinda dough off their TV contract

Why?...those sports don't bring in any money...spend twice as much as they bring in to be exact...and nobody watches em'.

If you shared an apartment with somebody else, would you pay all of the bills because you made the most money?

Unfortunately, all the rednecks care about it is the economy and swallowing whatever nonsense Jim Jones feeds them. And, as dimwitted rednecks typically are, they're too shortsighted to realize that the economy will suffer more if there's a 2nd outbreak that's worse than the first one from ending the restrictions too quickly.

Might disagree on a lot......but this your best on CIS dawg.

Just an FYI expect more healthcare professionals to get sick. My cousin is currently at home right now with a fever and she works at palmetto. Companies like 3M are basically saying **** off and are taking cash offers from other countries.

No one cares about competitive D1-level ribbon dancing.

Pretty pathetic that our country can't even make fcking paper masks to protect lives anymore. With the War Powers Act during WWII we had American companies making everything we needed because we had real capabilities. We've become a slave to goddam China. What a sad state of affairs.

Oh no private industry absolutely has tried. I’ve even seen them with interchangeable filters which would be 3x easier to make but we’ll all die before they get all the approvals and licensing to freaking sell it. It’s ridiculous.
