Oh, boy, we have one clown chatting about "bulk of scholarships" to be lost (apparently never got the memo related to skating) and another about lack of depth at safety.
I think a successful season will be 9 - 10 wins. Personally, I see 7-8 wins with this group. We still have a ways to go for elite talent on the roster, and if we can keep the 2016 kids committed when that signing day comes, talent will drastically improve.
7 wins is a disaster. Golden would not survive. He may live to coach next year, but that would be it. We have plenty of elite talent on this roster, we just don't have enough elite talent with enough experience.
A 7 win season will get Al canned. Especially considering that our arch rival is poised to pick up their 4th NC.
lol @ this comment. Al is here for 6 years minimum. He will not be leaving any time soon regardless of the record this year. He will not do worse than 7 wins so forget about him leaving.
That is not necessarily true. A guy who hasn't won squat will not be afforded the two extra years that a guy like Coker, who won and then lost in the national championships, was afforded. Also, you just hedged your statement by saying that he would never get fired by saying that 7 wins is fireable and he wont win so few games. So which is it?
