I am not the computer savvy poster like most are but it would be interesting to get a before and after on our athletes to see the bulk they have increased to. Can someone walk me through making something like this?

I keep hearing dudes talking about how different things are this year and how everything seems so much better. Then, those same dudes are telling us we should be happy with 7 or 8 wins. That's a load of ****. I don't see this rugged schedule everyone is pre-whining about.

Unless there is total injury decimation, you win 11 total and the acc coastal, or this season is a fail. If you believe in Al and UM, then show it. Quit hedging your bets on this fake hard schedule.

Dumbest **** ever that fans make up, culture. It doesn't feel different, you're just hoping it is. Change the names to Shannon and Coker, same things were posted under Shannon.

Ive said it before, football is a abstract game. Its a art, not a science. If you dont think it matters how you run your program on a day to day basis then I dont know what to tell you. Your lack of understanding on this is the exact reason why 99% of the posters here couldnt be a coach(Myself included). Im sure you could scribble some plays on a napkin but coaching is as much about motivation and managing people as it is Xs and Os.

Maybe i am wrong about the feeling I have, but your assertion that culture is something made up by fans is straight wrong. The culture matters, and its what separates the top coaches from the rest.

It does feel different, the talent is starting to come back, not one doubt about it... The talent was very thin the past few years, we should be absolutely loaded by 2016, the fun is just beginning.

Exactly. Not just the starting talent, but more importantly, the depth. This is the first time where the loss of any key starter doesn't automatically mean we're in deep ****. Past years we've had some individual talent, but any exit from the game due to injury or fatigue and there was an ENORMOUS drop off in capability on the field.

I want to believe, but I feel like we say the same thing every offseason. Then the season starts and our D gives up 500 yards and our "massive" o-line gets stuffed in short yardage situations.

The feeling is fewer and fewer Shannon players on the roster......

The problem is depth. We dont have it at LB, S or on the OL. We are getting closer but injuries will chew us up as the season goes on. I think we start fast and finish almost like last year (although with a healthy Duke late in the season it should be an improvement). I think we will be a better team, but we need more depth to get us over the hump late in the season.

It's so different that the HC who couldn't go five minutes without referencing "the cloud" as an excuse for everything wanted to bail for a school under vastly more severe sanctions than he faces at UM.

I think 2016 will be a beautiful team to watch but we will be losing lots of players and the bulk of scholarships. So we will be in a rebuilding stage once again until we are done with losing scholarships. However I want to see what this years team can do.

physical appearance by the players. Looked at Denzel last year vs this year huge gains. Basically all returning players have noticeable physical changes. Can this translate into game day? My concern will be overall team speed from side line to side line on defense and vertical on offense

I agree but according to Pete's last work his sources are saying the team is very fast and the most talented team we have had since 04'.

I read somewhere, probably in Pete's "The Work," that we are very fast on defense. As Lou Holtz used to say, and JJ proved, "Speed kills." We just have to be tough up front and I hope that's changed. I hope Wyche gets in shape fast, but I have a feeling it might not be much this year. Like when Cortez Kennedy came in from Juco. His junior year was almost a waste because of conditioning. His senior year he exploded. I could see something similar here.

I'm not stating it as fact, it's just my opinion. Comparing this to what I saw with Shannon I feel like this team is better prepared for the season then anytime in the last 5 or 6 seasons.

I honestly think some of my Hurricane fellow fans are irrational or just don't know the game. I read a post yesterday where they were questioning a defensive tip and batted ball drill. It's sad that some of you guys are couch fans and know nothing about the game. I played it. Coach it and is currently trying my hand at scouting. **** some of y'all don't know **** man!!!!
My all criticize Golden boy like crazy. He's rebuilding the program brick by brick and all y'all do is pop shot. Don't get it twisted cuz I've witnessed all 5 titles. I expect greatness but **** y'all have bad memories. The man inherited a program with kids with bad habits, attitudes and ethics. NCAA probation and we still gotta here this pessimism. We are going to win a title on 2016. I predicted the one in 2001 on schedule. I'm calling this one. It takes time you boneheads!!!
