Proof of Randomness in College Baseball

Why does proximity make it less of a gamble if academics and/or finances are a requirement?

Kep Brown got cold feet or was home sick or (insert reason).

It's always more of a risk for teenagers from out-of-state. It's a fact of life. Tons of college kids leave school after one year and transfer home.

So when I bring up nine years worth of futility, it's a small sample size. When I bring up Brandon Gali, you say that's one player. But why don't we go after out of state kids? Kep Brown. No local kid has ever quit. Every program should stay away from out of state kids because of Kep Brown. You're a joke.

I've got some Caribbean sunshine to enjoy. I'll revisit your clown show tonight.

Just remember, he only missed the tournament once. Everything is fine.

Yes you did you liar! You literally implied in this very post because this area is more "gator friendly"(it's not, it's filled with FSU fans) we can't get as many players from here and then you deny it

Your desperation is so transparent. Usually when someone is outed as a liar the first thing they do is accuse the other person of lying too.

Everybody can read what I said. Nowhere did I say gator friendly. That's another lie that we can add to the list. Quotes imply a quote. You just made that up.

I also never said we can't get as many players from there.

Just lies all over the place.

I said there aren't more Miami fans than Gator fans. It doesn't imply anything except that we don't have any advantages there.

We do go after out-of-state players. Stop being so whiny and dramatic.

Kep Brown just represents 100% of the out-of-state players that we expected on campus in 2015 and 2016. So his example is relevant.

YES YOU DID!

Do you have access to their grades? No you don't

Do you have access to their family's income? No you don't

You guessed

You're not going to save face. So you can stop trying to.

I'm basing it on first-hand knowledge, direct quotes from our coaches and the general understanding of every person who follows our program closely.

That's how we operate.

But you know two random parents and that means something apparently. Maybe.

Question.

How many coaches in Division I college baseball won 367 games since 2009 and made the World Series twice. Am too busy to look it up but am regally curious.

So let's do 10 years like ucaned wanted. Jim Morris has 420 wins and 3 CWS appearances.

The number of coaches that meet or exceed that standard is 8.

Mike Martin
Paul Mainieri
Kevin O'Sullivan
Mike Fox
Dan McDonnell
Brian O'Connor
Jim Schlossnagle
Tim Corbin

Based on Dancer's calculation, and using basic math, Morris was better than 97% of Division 1 College coaches. He also made Omaha, which is the equivalent of a Final Four in basketball or the Football Playoffs.

UM Football would do ANYTHING to have accomplished this over the past decade.

Someone just incinerated the gnome and exposed him as the concierge that he is!

I don't know their parents, my parents know their parents. I know Evan McKendry and Anthony Masiello the players....as in the guys who play with the other guys you say are wealthy and/or have good grades.

You don't know first hand skippy, guess how I know that...

You don't know first hand skippy

Yes, I do.

Which is why it's almost 4pm and you still haven't come up with anything other than non sequiturs and random text conversations with your daddy's friends.

You're even more pathetic than we originally thought.

Hahahahahaha, are you retarded guy? I know Evan McKendry and Anthony Masiello, I played with them on Elite(if you even know what that is) can't you put 2 and 2 together? You're doing nothing but feeding this board BS and you don't even have a clue of what you're talking about.

Who cares?

Nobody even knows what you're talking about. Not a single person reading this has any clue what point you've been trying to make for the better part of today. Not a clue.

You've been outed about 6 times today in straight up lies.

You've now gone into hour 7 of one of the most bizarre digressions in message board history.

Nobody even has the faintest idea what you're talking about.

Get help.

Kind of like how we lost 100% of the post-season games against equal or higher seeds over a 9 year period. So those games are relevant.

The most important thing I learned today: don't stray from the Tri-County area because kids might get homesick.

At least we can add one to the list of reasons why Jim Morris cannot be critiqued:

1. Randomness
2. Tuition
3. 1999/2001
4. Homesickness

Exactly one of those eight coaches walked into a legendary program. And he kept it rolling. The other seven built their success from nothing. The guy we're talking about took over a regular CWS contender and kept that going for 8 years. The last 15, though......

When you can nail down the number of teams there are in D1 baseball, get back with us.

What about Venice, Sarasota, or god forbid....Windermere? Do any of those kids get homesick, or are we letting UF have them because that's not traditional UM territory?
