Position battles going into Fall camp

Why do u think McDermott is the "worst" one out of that group???

He's not as physical as them other guys. I like him, but I don't think he's quite big/strong enough to be a dominant center.

So. He just doesn't look the part? IMO they rotate. If an odd man out it is Bunche

A bunch of guys are going to play anyway. Golden keeps saying how he wants 9-10 guys playing a lot.

My best guess:

LT Flowers/Bunche

LG Feliciano/Isidora

C McDermott/Wheeler

RG Linder/Wells

RT Seantrel/Gadbois

Bunche and Wheeler will play a lot while Gadbois and Isidora play more as the season progresses.

I don't see Wells or Gadbois getting much PT this year.

Welp, we'll probably need a 4th tackle to play at some point. I don't know if that will end up being Gadbois, Wells, Feliciano, Sonny..who the **** knows.

I think we will see some Gadbois this year as well. We really put ourselves in a bind with our OT recruiting but we were lucky enough to get Henderson to come back. Gadbois looks the part and he was one of those guys, like Sunny, that we really made priorities.

It's still not too late to make a center out of Linder. McDermott is a good player but he's the sixth best OL on the team.

Flowers-Bunche-Linder-Feliciano-Seantrel

The center is usually smaller then the other Olinemen but they also have different responsibilities...even if the other lineman are better ol prospects, i still think Mc Dermott is the best one that can play Center.

Imo Feliciano may be the odd man out.... he is weaker at run blockong then the other starters u mentioned.

Pffffffft. Lmao

Wow. SMH

You don't watch the O-line at all, or you don't know what you're looking at. Dude absolutely bullies people in the run game. Him and Linder have been our highest grading linemen since they've been here and Bunche and/or Henderson can't hold either one of their jocks.

Feliciano is the weakest run blocker out of the top olineman on our team..... last year there were times when Jeremy Lewis out played Feliciano when it came to run blocking.

Right. So Kehoe used his "weakest run blocker" for his videos on RUN BLOCKING. LOL

Delusional. SMH

Let's just ignore the game film and make blanket statements. Not sure if serious. I feel like you're messing with me right now. Nobody with a clue would say that Feliciano is our weakest run blocker. He absolutely mauls people.

I'm not sold on this OL.

These guys really didn't demonstrate that they can consistently blow people off the ball. None of them did.

Blowing people off the ball isn't their problem. Getting their bodies onto blocks and/or holding their blocks is the issue.

Some of our Linemen fail to lock onto their blocks and drive. If they can just get their body locked on then they can move people. That's a sign of poor athleticism IMO. We whiff alot, and we often let defenders cross our face and beat us.

I've been saying it for the past 2 years. Our O-line isn't athletic enough. Everybody's so obsessed with the size of our O-linemen but they fail to realize that our size is hurting us in many instances.

The film speaks for itself. If you look at the film of our failed run plays then you'll notice that the issue is we're missing blocks, not that we're getting blown off the ball. When we get a body-on-body then we maul people, which is why "Power" is one of our most successful run plays.

Lol u are weird man..... "nobody with a clue" would say Feliciano mauls people. When???.... at practice? lol. None of our olinman "mauled" anybody last year.

If Feliciano is this great then why is Bunche going to take his spot then?

1. I just showed you video of Feliciano straight up bullying people. LOL
2. Feliciano is one of our highest grading lineman on the team.
3. Bunche has zero chance of taking his spot. Henderson couldn't take Feliciano's spot when they were at RT.
4. Kill yourself. You're clueless.

Good point. Seantrel is the poster boy for this.

Keep in mind that on Defense we will be running a lot of 3-4 this year.

I vision perryman/Kirby as our inside backers and bonds/figs as our outside linebackers.

I think this should improve our pass rush tremendously.

This happened a lot with Bunche while he played OT too. Bunche plays better in the phone booth!!

Where are you guys seeing all his evidence about the running game? We didn't run the ball last year.

I would rather keep Perryman on the outside. Gaines should be OK in he middle and we keep our best linebacker doing what he does best.

1. are u Feliciano's girlfriend???
2. Seantrel Henderson needed back surgery during that time.
3. Seantrel is a way better ol prospect then Feliciano.
4. Feliciano couldnt get a push to save his life at times last year.

Conversation over. I'm arguing with somebody who has LiL Boosie as their avatar and expecting him to know about football. LOL smh

Perryman's way too small to play OLB in a 3-4. Too short. He'd be engulfed by TE's and Tackles.

2nd to last in the ACC in attempts.

We barely even tried.

Yeah kind of my point. I know we had to score as much as possible last year, I get that. But **** anyone with half a brain knows run blocking can be as much about rhythm as anything. You make the guys pass block 99% of the time and its no wonder we don't look as strong as we should when we run. The line, the running backs, the receivers, the QB.....everyone benefits from a consistent running attack. **** throw in the defense as well.

I don't really think its that cut and dry especially since our defensive scheme isn't really laid out.
