Please stop saying we have ELITE ATHLETES

great response with substance. Yes this is all true and fans on this board want the coaches gone and I understand their limited perspective to some degree. But like you understand and I explained earlier the fans don’t understand the X’s and O’s As far as what the coaches see on film and what scheme is best to run based on what they see. Fans don’t understand the drop off in depth at the offensive line. Fans don’t see the execution in practice but on game day players ****ting the bed on game day and then you can’t go to the other guy because he can’t remember his plays or brain farts to often in practice to have confidence in him in the game. I get frustrated because people on here are always trying to change the narrative when you pose a question to make you look like you don’t know what your talking about. YES THE COACHING CAN BE BETTER AND THAT GOES FOR AN UNDEFEATED TEAM AS WELL. But our “ so called ELITE players have to make that special play in open field. That “strip tackle” THAT BUBBA BOLDEN MADE IN THE PITT GAME. THATS A 4/5 ⭐ play. Catching a five yard screen and taking it to the house. These are the plays that change the close games. Ie. KJ Osborn breaking that crucial tackle to score and win the game instead of falling down. Tbh the defense is fine it’s the offense that continues to put the defense in compromising positions but hey I DON’T KNOW FOOTBALL 🤷🏽‍♂️
you just have to laugh it off on here. They want to see/talk results with out taking into account what it takes to get those results

Exactly I have over thirty years of experience with football coaching and playing and these dudes on here are retards. I’m disappointed we lost but it’s a process and there are so many layers to this which no one and not even myself can explain because we don’t know what the coaches know as far as film and what’s going on with the players and what they do in practice.

We do have better athletes than most teams we play. And I'm not gonna base this on rivals and scout, I'm gonna base this argument on VEGAS. Three times this year, we lost when favored by double digits. Guys in Vegas set these spreads for a living. This is their livelihood. You think they didnt do their homework? They looked at our roster and our opponents and said we should blow these teams out. Our coaches said, "not so fast my friend"

Defensive line is the only spot where we have elite athletes. Mainly DE. Our linebackers are dreadfully slow. Brooks huff cave should help tremendously. A healthy steed would have been great also.

Our secondary is not that good either. Hall and bolden are elite athletes. Couch and Williams also. But Ivey and blades are average. Ivey being below average honestly.

Finley is fine I guess at striker. Frierson should be but god dam every time I look at him he’s getting burnt to a crisp. He needs serious work. And judging by his social media he is not fit to put in the work and lacks the drive necessary. Sorry if you don’t agree but I think he and Pinckney are problems.

offensively I think we’re fine just the system is trash. Our tight ends are elite and our backs are talented. Receivers really stink at making contested catches but there is some speed. But no elite athletes. Elite athletes are the bama LSU osu usc receivers. But our players are solid just are being held back

So you are saying, the guy you spent all year defending, ended up creating a line that is worse than the majority of G5 teams?
No. They inherited that line. The line improved. Then yesterday got hit with injuries. I found my self wrong. I thought maybe Barry and staffs tried to play the long game and jeopardizes the short game..but that group was indeed our best option

Yes I understand our OC/DC could be better with play calling but name me more than two players on our starting offense and defense that could start on bama or Ohio state? Me personally after Greg R their is no one else. These kids gotta make plays.
How could anyone that watched the last 2 games argue this. Did we look faster or stronger than Duke and FIU. They both dominated L.O.S.

Cant say for certain cause I'm in vegas for the past few weeks. But knowing him I'd guess hes past disappointment. Furious at this rate. However this is a numbers game and I doubt you'll see any significant change at this point. As I've said all along manny talks alot but lacks substance. I dont see manny as the savage yall do. Guess well see if he atleast understands self preservation.

yeah but I think the bigger question is Blake’s future. The guy has overseen several bad $$ decisions and the 2 top revenue makers are in the bottom third of the conference. if money talks, flake should be gone ASAP.

you have been LIED TO ABOUT THE ⭐ and blue chips.
Maybe you should help Manny develop these players Into Bama and Buckeye caliber players. How’s that for a narrative!! Bottom line is our roster on paper is better than everyone in the coastal!! You may not beat everyone but 6-6!. Come on man!! This staff is pop Warner staff compared to many coaching staffs in NCAA and even some power house high schools..

Yeah. Blake should be gone & probably will be. But that's not gonna improve anything now. It's a slow process. Firing him still leaves several other heads that need to roll. I'm always curious with how people say we get attacked over any lil thing by the NCAA if they're aware we have a gator running our compliance... compliance is the ones who point out details to the NCAA. Think that's not an issue if youd like. Its gonna be alot of money in buy outs and new hires. That's slow burn at best.

Get a new AD asap, so that person can make changes in the AD, and be in a position to get a new HC in a year. Not sure what else to do because they aren’t firing manny now. But can’t leave this AD to pick Manny’s successor, and it’d be a typical UM **** show to try to hire a new AD right into a coaching search. The orderly change makes more sense.

If I had to guess I'd say itll be a new a.d. search at the same time as a new coach hire... morons aplenty. Should be the opposite way but this admin has far more problems far higher up then just the ad and I doubt they get corrected so I'd expect more of the same.

Apparently they weren't lying to Georgia, Ohio State, Clemson, Alabama, etc. Just Miami.
**** u and ur logic. I enjoy the dumb **** so I'm gonna say hes absolutely right. Has nothing to do with coaches schemes, lack of development or blatantly **** coaching, development or evaluations. It's all on the recruiting sites lying to our coaches. **** them

We’ve signed 1 top 10 class since 2015..by the star system narrative we haven’t been at a elite level. Then add in the attrition rate
