Why are you blaming 4/5 star Florida kids for our struggles WHEN WE'RE NOT EVEN SIGNING 4/5 STAR KIDS?

Generally we are signing the leftover kids that the big time programs didn't want.

Those "over rated" 4 and 5 star Florida kids seem to be doing just fine at Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, Georgia, Auburn, etc.

That's bullsh!t...because many of those highly rated kids are going to Elite programs and contributing.

The whole recruiting service thing is not an exact science but it's more accurate now than it's ever been.

No the **** they're not. If anything the gap is widening. Pretty evident when you look at the number of Florida kids drafted to the NFL every year.

you almost hit the nail on the head here..no we do have elite athletes on the roster..but we don’t have elite football players..I still don’t think our fanbase has grasped the fact that Duke isn’t the same Duke that was around in 06..they have athletes. The talent gap between where we are and the teams we are losing too across the board is not that wide. Them playing man 1 and zero coverage on the outside should tell all u need to know..FIU same thing..

depth and comp is the real problem. when is the last time someone who you didn’t expect to flash, flashed..I’m talking young guys waiting in the wings but you see them making plays on the STs unit...The stock piling of talent, depth, competition is what the top program feed off. Nobodies job is safe. That includes ST units. That’s were the culture is lacking and has been since 04..it’s not that these kid don’t want to compete, but they don’t need to compete cause that talent behind them is not there. Prime example and the most important example today on the oline..we saw firsthand today how bad the options behind 60, 51, 53, 55 are..

If there is one thing Manny did speak on which was is inherently true, it’s this fact..It’s going to take a coach and staff who understands this and attacks disease which has led to complacency. And it cant be manufactured. It has to be tangible. Like JT4 losing his return duties in place of K.J...if a kid sees a sign of adversity and decides to transfer the coach has to show him the door and keep that plan in place. I don’t know if manny is the coach to do that. but It’s gonna take a guy who’s maybe not a players coach. It’s gonna take a coach who the players have a healthy fear of.

now we can rotate staffs in and out as much as CIS. The thing that seems to be a common theme? These position coaches, OCs, DCs, aside from Dno and Jon Richt all seem to land on their feet other places..some get high level jobs right after. TB is with the panthers. Todd Hartley UGA. Larry Scott UF. Dugans FSU. Stacey searels UNC. **** the butt of all our jokes Al golden landed a NFL gig..one thing is clear, they all know football..that brings me to my conclusions: Whoever the HC is needs to bring in a staff and reevaluate how they evaluate prospects with a clear understanding that your coming to Miami to compete. not to be the savior. Not to bring Miami back. But to first and foremost Compete at a high level. That’s how sustain success. That’s how you build winning culture. Places like OSU, OU, Bama at this point their HC could step down today, another staffer can take over the reigns and 1000 percent believe that winning culture that has been built for 10 plus year would stick..for us it’s the same. Just in the complete opposite direction

You listed 5 guys..none of which are Offensive lineman. We want to to annually compete for titles..that’s the standard right..tell me which annual power can list out their best 10 best players every year and not one interior lineman show up... now ask yourself how long has that been the case here...

They arent. But carry on. We have sorry....and i mean sorry *** coaches. If all of our coaches got fired today maybe 2 would get a power 5 job and the rest would literally be coaching high school football, washing cars, or bartending

So are you saying fiu,gt,vt,duke & western michigan have better athletes? If you're not than you sound just as stupid as the people who say we have just as good athletes as the power house programs... obviously the athletes here arent on that level for the most part
But luckily the only people we play suit up for the girls YMCA now... put blame in ALL the spots it belongs. Not just on the players. Cause if we were on an even field with everyone we play we go without a single win. We lose to inferior talent and inferior schools due to coaching. It begins and ends with coaching bruh.
 
Miami does not have the overall talent of the CFP teams. The problem is the ‘brain drain’ on the Miami sideline prevents us from seeing the players develop and function at a high level.

It is because we have had crappy QBs for 15 years. Crappy OL for 15 years. Dorsey was sacked 3 times when he was QB. William's was sacked 10 times in one game. The OL has been more than attrocious and the stars from SoFla OL wise are forever overrated. OL and QB need redone.

Atleast one person pays attention. People dont comprehend if you're predictable in ur route tree any decent coordinator will pick up on that and any kid who stays in his film how he should will see a tendency and sit on that route. Wont even respect other possibilities... as innovative as we began camp we literally regressed with the problems of the line...

Said it once I’ll say it again. RB is the only elite position group on the team.

elite athletes will beat the man across from them consistently coach be **** - Garvin comes to mind. Our players just aren’t that good.

coaching wise, you have to get rid of Enos because he’s calling plays as if he has elite talent. Maybe he felt like he did have the necessary talent early on but over the course of the season, he’s still not adjusted to how bad the o line is. For that, he has to go.

Defensively, we can win with Manny calling plays but I think it’s obvious the talent has regressed under his recruiting.

Maybe FIU GT VT and DUKE have better athlete’s then us because I don’t see the big plays when our athletes get the ball in space. NO BODY ON OUR OFFENSE SCARES ANYONE GET THAT THROUGH YOUR THICK SKULL! Yes coaches should get some blame but our ALLEGED 4/5 offensive skills are ***!

I have observed these coaches putting these kids in position to win every game and we can’t make the big plays case in point Florida game ( Jeff Thomas muffining the punt inside the ten) in North Carolina ( Hightower) dropping a pass to keep the drive going in the 4th to continue giving Miami possession to seal the game. Bandy getting smoked and playing mediocre the whole season ) GT game Ivey with his bull**** and our skills playing mediocre in that game. And YES THE COACHES CAN COACH BETTER BUT THE KIDS HAVE BEEN PUT IN POSITION TO WIN EVERY GAME BUT LIKE I SAID NO ONE MAKES BIG PLAYS!
 
I can see a little if both sides.

we need a new innovative offense. Do I think we have great personnel? No, heck our best 2 offensive Players didn’t play (DJ and Brevin) then Cam was averaging 5.6 he went down. Then our OL was dropping like flies. I have never seen so many injuries on one side of the ball in one game.

we were depleted, but our scheme and Play calling Gave us little chance.

jarren has regressed badly.

brevin and will are only players I see on this offense drafted in first 3 rounds down the road. So yes their also is a lack of elite talent.
