1) Guy was devastated by getting canned. Don’t blame him, but the energy he used to have and the passion you used to see was non-existent.

2) Guy has no passion whatsoever for this new job. He’s doing it to get a shot at another HC gig and to get a nice paycheck in the process. However, you can see he’s just going through the motions. He looks emotionless tbh.

3) He’ll be gone in two years. He’s going to either sink or swim. Swim, and he’s going to take a G5 HC job somewhere. If he did a miraculous turnaround he may even get a HC gig somewhere in the P5.
