New Black Uniform thread

So ive said this before, but one time I wish we would wear a partial black uniform on the road.

I wish especially for a night game on road we would wear black helmets, White jersey, black pants. Think it would be legit

For those that hate the uniforms can we get an age check, please?

I just want to mentally prepare myself for when I turn 40 or 50 and expect that switch in my brain to go off that compels me to hate every new uniform. Is it around the same time you get an itch to learn more about WWII and wear Nike Monarchs?

It would have been subtle, but if they would have done like a green metallic (but still dark green) gloss instead, it would have been a nice touch that added something to the numbers. I don't know how perceptible it would have been, but I'd have liked to have seen it.

I think the perforated look on the numbers is something we haven't seen a lot of teams do, either.

Even though there's a lack of green, for us having a black alternate uni, there are some good elements here that are somewhat unique and not overdone.
 
Lol I could throw darts blindfolded and do better than that.. Talk about uninspiring. The U being the smallest part of the uniform is ****** laughably bad. Do no like. Saying those are better than the neon ones may be true but that's like saying getting kicked in the head is better than getting kicked in the nuts.

Don't lump us all into that category.

In my younger years, I was a bit more partial to our "traditional" uniforms and raised some objections when we started changing them up.

In my older age, I have realized that if the players like them, that is most of what matters in the discussion.

But then you get the 'they changed the color' squad all up in arms lol
 
Honestly, they’re pretty sick. Like others have said, the only thing I would’ve done differently is replace the reflective silver outline around the numbers and made it a dark green (or black for that matter). Other than that, they look awesome.

I think a nice touch for a future version of these uniforms would also be to replace the U on the helmet with the hurricane warning flag. An all black uniform / helmet (make it all black with very little to no orange / green) with the contrast of the red/black flag on the side of the helmet would look awesome I think.

If we used the hurricane warning flag in more of our branding, I'd be on board. Not many people identify that as being a part of our brand outside of SFL, so its kinda fruitless. No offense.

If we were ever going to put something other than the U on the side of our helmets, I'd hope it would be Sebastian. That's recognizable as Miami.
