Look to the Transfer Portal: Discussion thread

After the first wave of Miami Portal this is my order of needs. 1 & 2 are in the bag pretty much so I put them at the top

  1. Xavier Lucas
  2. Center (James Brockermeyer)
  3. Quarterback - 1 starting
  4. 1 Inline Te
  5. 1 Wr starting
  6. 1 DE (depending if Mesiodor stays)
  7. 1 Nickel CB or boundary
  8. 1 Safety depth or starting
  9. Running back 1 depth
  10. Guard (depending on spring performance)
Number one should be a new DC.

why?.

We have our te in Jonnu Smith.

Dolphins if mcdaniel is there needs to draft all **** OL and a qb lol

Dolphins need to run the ball better and be more physical, for sure. Warren facilitates both while also providing a threat for cover 2 against Waddle and Tyreke; he's a mismatch nightmare and better all-around athlete than Jonnu on a rookie scale.

I think Tua and the offense gives them the belief that OL can improve gradually over time, but if we do address the running game and up the physicality this offseason I think there's hope for this McDaniel build.

I also like Omarion Hampton but little chance of drafting RB on day two this year. I was hoping we prioritized Saquon Barkley b/c I believe Tua could win a championship with him or a CMac type.

Hoping to see guys like Samson, Kinsler, Tinilau, Nino etc push them as well. Some OL just take time and the light comes on
We need big steps from Bell, McCoy and yes Cooper. I think an upgrade at center will help the guards. Carpenter was mid. Cooper has to get better. We have one beast a bunch of guys that fluctuate between average and good with an occasional beast flash. We have to have it next year losing Cam

In 2023 we hit the absolute powerball on OL health. That will never happen again I’m not sure we lost more than a handful of snaps from any of the starters

Last year was back to reality. I thought Carpenter was fine. His PFF says otherwise but the eye test tells me he was solid 🤷🏼‍♂️ Brockermeyer looks better. Not Matt Lee but could be good

I expect Coop to bounce back. Ankle injuries for these monsters are always tough. Watching Trent Williams have those issues kinda drives that home and he’s the best there is

But anyway yeah. I really like what I saw from Nino and Frankie for such young nothing recruits. OL depth might not be as scary this year as the last two
