I know! I expected someone to do that tbh. That confuses all kinds of people when it comes to them.

It's like that old Wayne's World joke: "Wait! D1ck York? D1ck Sargeant? Sargeant York!!! Wow, that's weird......."
 
To be honest, I was not aware of Ricky and Robert Gibson as a tag team. Out of curiosity I looked it up and am now enjoying a match from 1981 between the Gibson bros vs Gypsy Joe & The Angel. I was 8 yrs old that year! As a side note, listening to Gordon Solie call this match is a pleasure and taking me back to the good old days

Florida championship wrestling and Georgia championship wrestling were amazing back in the day... Solie was a God...
Look up old Mid - Atlantic stuff as well with Roddy , Ricky steamboat and Flair.... Sooo good.... Roddy was top 5 best heels ever...

I do remember all those guys. Back in the early 80's I was a junky. Roddy was great and Steamboat vs Flair is all time.
I remember the Boogie Woogie man picking up my little brother and toting him around the ring way back then and then picked on me because I was wearing one of those Miami Vice Don Johnson jackets.
Another funny memory is when the Mulkey Brothers won a match and how it happened.

I low key miss the NWA set up. One true world champion that would go across all the different territories. Each territory had different titles like North American, U.S, or that territory’s top title, but only one true world champion.

Auburn, VA Tech, Penn ST, SMU, Purdue & Indiana are the schools that have offered & been in contact with him.

He was a finalist for the Jerry Rice award, which is the FCS award for the top freshman (Cam Ward won it at Incarnate Word).

He had 86tks 15.5TFL's, 3FR's, 3 sacks & 2PD's & was a FCS Freshman All-American.
