Hold your horses. Wait till they account for the long snapper and kicker lol
That's what makes our haul even more impressive at this point. We have a high average, and they are all players with proven production to drive their ratings, not artificially propped up ratings based on old HS rankings. We have the highest average in the nation according to 247. With that said, portal rankings are an absolute joke imo. They place way too much of an emphasis on high school ranking. What has Luke Kromenhoek shown in college to be ranked as the fourth overall recruit? How about Williams Nwaneri or Micah Hudson? They both barely played last year but the fact that they were 5 stars coming out causes them to be ranked higher than players with proven college production.
Beast. Or at least what I have seen most definitelyis this the kid that was beasting on us?
antwaun powell-ryland #52is this the kid that was beasting on us?
I don't think its a matter of not being good enough for Miami as much as not being good enough for what he may be asking for in compensation to go into the portal vs NFL draft.Wonder why, if Ewers isn’t good enough for Miami, that Sark is putting his championship shot in jeopardy by starting him, especially with the gawd Manning on this sidelines? One would think Sark knows better than anyone how good Ewers is.
Exactly, I think Ewers would give us one of the best QBs in the conference and one of the better in the country. If we can sign someone in his range all the while filling out the rest of the roster with non JAGs, 100% do it.I don't think its a matter of not being good enough for Miami as much as not being good enough for what he may be asking for in compensation to go into the portal vs NFL draft.
Are you kidding me? This is Miami, we are the best situation for every player ever.I don’t know if this has been asked - but are we sure Ewers would be that interested in us?
I can easily see Ohio St or Oregon overreacting based on the results of the playoffs and try to bring him in.
Ohio St - obviously he started out there and could finish there with JS
Oregon would probably feel more comfortable starting Ewers over Dante Moore and Oregon got playmakers too.
And that’s not to mention others probably lurking, like ND
Fair point. And who knows if we could win the bidding war.I don’t know if this has been asked - but are we sure Ewers would be that interested in us?

He locked in the wr from Chaminade already for class of 26. oNE OF THE BEST LOCAL WR NEXT YEARDid they loose anyone this offseason. That’s a lot of WRs. Hopefully helps us.
Side note to that, the WR coach, Marcus Davis, was my teammate at American Heritage Delray. Need to get him to come back down south. Hes CRUSHING it there
