There is a double dip phenomenon this year where teams are projecting that they'll have a $15M budget from the House settlement and then its still the wild west for NIL until July 1st when (assuming the House settlement is approved) Deloitte starts operating a clearinghouse for all NIL deals over $600 and determining if they meet the fair market value standard (not the current pay-for-play standard).Nuts if true. Was surprised Manny/Duke locked him up that fast...
Tennessee Tua lolNico?
Got it thank you. Hopefully that brings some normalcy (and salary cap?) to this and Mario's crooting ability will start to matter more than just how much $ we're offeringThere is a double dip phenomenon this year where teams are projecting that they'll have a $15M budget from the House settlement and then its still the wild west for NIL until July 1st when (assuming the House settlement is approved) Deloitte starts operating a clearinghouse for all NIL deals over $600 and determining if they meet the fair market value standard (not the current pay-for-play standard).
And Nico has been a disappointment so far. Maybe he will get better but you can usually tells a QB is good right away and Nico hasn’t lived up to that hefty NIL package.Nico?
On a scale of 1 - Jeremiah Smith is a done deal to the Noles, where are you on thisMiami is making a big move with a QB no one has discussed. I would be thrilled! Yuge and I’m a mope.
Jonnu just broke our te receiving records brah. Dude aint better at what we do....te's arent even a focal point in theis offense and only is because Jonnu is a beast route runner...Arroyo would be a better fit than Warren actually.Dolphins need to run the ball better and be more physical, for sure. Warren facilitates both while also providing a threat against cover 2 against Waddle and Tyreke; he's a mismatch nightmare and better all-around athlete than Jonnu on a rookie scale.
I think Tua and the offense gives them the belief that OL can improve gradually over time, but if we do address the running game and up the physicality this offseason I think there's hope for this McDaniel build.
I also like Omarion Hampton but little chance of drafting RB on day two this year. I was hoping we prioritized Saquon Barkley b/c I believe Tua could win a championship with him or a CMac type.
That would be my starting group....depending on what done in the spring....Pancake may get the Mccoy role where he comes in...either he or Possibly Rodriguez.Bell, McCoy, Brockermeyer, Cooper, Francis
Decent.
I wonder if we see more 6-OL with our TE room taking a hit. I think the freshmen prospects are good, but that’s a grown man position most of the timeThat would be my starting group....depending on what done in the spring....Pancake may get the Mccoy role where he comes in...either he or Possibly Rodriguez.
They may bring in another portal OL so we may be should watch that too.
cooper got hurt at the game i was at i wanna say Ball state.Man you guys are hard on Carpenter and I thought he was very solid for us. Was he KC Jones? No..but he **** sure wasnt the weak link..I would give that to Cooper...I heard he might have been playing hurt most of the year but he definitely has room for improvement next year. I thought we would be talking about him leaving early for the draft this time last year.
Samson Rodriguez SJ tinula kinslerBell, McCoy, Brockermeyer, Cooper, Francis
Decent.
