Because things have improved doesn't mean they are where they should be. Obama wasn't the signal of racism ending or the end of it being a white man's world.

Thread is funny (though probably not in a good way).

Incident happens in Mississippi, not Miami. The incident is such that the MOST RACIST fraternity says "no, bros, this is too racist even by Kappa Alpha Order standards."

Some Miami fans go out of their way to defend, rationalize, and minimize the incident that has nothing to do with Miami.

Strange.

You have complete understanding of what is wrong! You just support racists (people who are a threat, threatened and attacked/killed persons of color and religious differences). Racism blinds, but hopefully you aren't stupid enough to not know that you don't have to break a law to be in violation of rules, codes or morally accepted actions. Bet if some Black Frat Bros held a gun to a picture of your son, your post would not be the same. You would see it as the threat it is and call the police and school officials expecting them to do something.

How do you know this? Did you do it? And it's not a statue, it's a sign, it's a memorial sign.

The sign is full of bullet holes. They are standing in front of the sign holding guns. At night. The purpose of memorializing such a combination of factors in a photo is for credit-claiming and/or intimidation.

Why do you think they were out there at night? They were shooting the memorial up. Might be hard to prove in a court of law, but it's not impossible.
 
Back to the OP's point -- the SEC is racist. Everyone knows it. We need to get back to winning so our recruits can stop making business decisions to go play in front of fans that would rather own them like gladiators than have their daughters wed them.

This is how sweet and strong the lure of "racism-denial" is. Some guys feel compelled to do it even when it doesn't involve them, their school, their conference, or their state.
