This isn't true. As usually is the case, a myriad of factors contribute to losses. Offense unable to sustain drives and convert on 3rd downs was equally attributable to losses as the defense.

Virginia Tech- 549 yards
Duke- 543 yards
Louisville- 554 yards
There's always blame to go around after a loss. But everybody watching the games knows the biggest reason we are losing.

The offense was good this year because we've recruited well there. The 2010 class had a bunch of offensive guys who will play in the pros. But the 2010 class was a nightmare on defense, and Golden's staff has struggled recruiting and developing front seven players. That's why you see so many 500+yard disasters.
