He pulls his first lefty after one batter to do silly games L/L and R/R only to go to a true freshman on the road in a leverage situation.
Then proceeds to watch him stand out there and go walk, mound visit, walk, walk.

Why do you even have a guy warming up if you're going to manage that so poorly?

Whew, was I ever hoping for more manager development than that.

If the bats do wake up, Cleveland threw quite a few pitches and you still have to get six more outs.

Struggling to insert video but head bob was crystal clear in the swing and miss for strike two and then the k looking. The k looking was arguably more significant up and down than the swing and miss.
 
So, opening series was more false hope. I guess we need to stop getting excited about lots of runs against, basically, HS pitching.
