Elite 8 - The U vs Kansas

The past couple of weeks have been the best 2 week stretch in Hurricane basketball history. Nothing to hang our heads about fellas. Thank you to the players and coaches for giving us a great season. This Elite 8 run was a memorable one and something we'll talk about for a long time.

Disagree. Eventually we’ll get to an 8 team playoff. Saban is out at Bama in a few years. We stack talent the way Mario can and we’ll start winning big. Once we get over the Clemson hurdle we’ll be in the playoff every year. Even getting to the ACC Championship with a 11-1 record and even losing that would be good enough.
 
Lets be honest, players like Walker and Poplar should be mop up guys. The talent drop off is pretty significant after our top 7 guys.

Up to Larranaga to bridge that gap the next few years

We put subs in, KU forces those subs to make plays, they don't, then sprinkle in a few turnovers, and the opposing team hitting a shot or two and the momentum completely changes from there. And once you have all the momentum its like a snowball rolling down a mountain... And with that momentum our guys get cold and theirs heat up.

Absolutely, could have built a much bigger lead going into the half. KU played pretty bad that 1st half, we weren't able to really take advantage of it because 2 of our guys sitting on the pine with foul trouble. Clear that Self discussed us reaching in with the refs. They called a foul almost every single time we reached. Every.

Refs were absolute trash. Not a bad take. Can't blame the refs entirely for this but they definitely contributed to us not being able to play physical defense and losing our most talented guys. However, you don't get outscored by 30 in a half because of the refs

That was when I checked out. How in the name of GOD do they call some of the fouls they called on us, but miss THAT? And to now hear our fans say, "Oh well, the better team won" just ****es me off. The better team shouldn't get away with crap like that, while the worse team gets called for breathing in the direction of the better team. No way. We got more fouls called on us that they would never have called on the so called better team.

Is Kansas more talented? Sure. Does that mean they should get away with garbage like this, while we get called for appearing to make contact when there was none? **** no.

But any Idea what adjustments Kansas made at half time, especially in making McGusty irrelevant?
