Good call. Kaaya has some of the best foot work I've seen in a high school QB - not perfect but very good. To my untrained eye, it looks like Brad has been watching Peyton Manning's practice videos (figure eight drill) to learn proper footwork and he's got a good grasp of it.

Kayaa's footwork is getting better. The biggest concern to my untrained eyes, even on his HS film was his tendency to get happy feet in the pocket.

The choppy feet is on purpose

Olsen went from Baby Jesus, savior of the program, to he never had any talent to begin with??? what a joke. Olsen was a an upper level prospect who earned his ranking. People are ready to give Heaps, a senior, a 3rd team to try to at least be an above average QB and Olsen is already written off 2 practices into his RS-Freshman year?

true...this mess HE caused is coming home to roost. It all started with a car wreck in NJ.

If Kevin Olsen's name was Kevin Smith he would've been a 3 star recruit who signed with a mid major.

He's never really shown anything above average talent.

That is so not true. I love how fans always say this after the fact. He flashed at the Elite 11 camp and was highly recruited b/c of his talent in high school. His name had nothing to do with it, other than giving Miami a leg up b/c of his brother.

He finished 10th out of 11 QB's at The Elite 11 camp.

On top of that he looked terrible at The Under Armor game.

In reality, he was no better a prospect than Stephen Morris coming out of High School. He just has a better name and a football family background.

I'm not gonna even bother. Lol. Morris when we took him initially was considered to be a depth guy, he just ran into luck that Teddy didn't end up here.

Olsen way better prospect, this is beyond hilarious. Olsen was regarded as top 5-10 QB by all sites. He was no push over at all.

If anything, Morris overachieved here, can ask anyone way back, only thing people saw in Morris was an arm. Everyone looked at him as depth.

Owens is a monster and when he goes from 232 to like 242 next year he will be an all conference guy.

He has some Steve Atwater in him even if he's no longer a safety

If what Owens is doing this early is any indication. Think Quarterman gonna kill it here when he steps on the field here in 2016.

As much as I want brad to start I think you go with heaps and Williams if he comes back. Let brad learn the playbook inside and out and think take over next year when he's more mature.

The only way you start brad is if he just tears the scrimmage up and looks way better than anyone else.

Realistically, this should be the case.

Owens will make us a faster defense Ill like that. Who is he battling with?

Until Al force feeds him until he's 290 and puts him at the 5 technique along with the rest of the roster per his grand scheme to intentionally sabotage his players' draft stock.
