DAY 3 PRACTICE THREAD

IMO opinion James coley will have the biggest say, and I think he will play the best player.

No, it means he was the 10th out of 11th at that particular event.

you do realize finishing 10 out of 11 is pretty good considering there are way more than just 11 prospects that compete for that? it basically says that he was the 10th best qb in the whole nation. now in hindsight (always 20/20) you can say he may have not been or isn't in a system that plays to his strengths.
If Kevin Olsen's name was Kevin Smith he would've been a 3 star recruit who signed with a mid major.

He's never really shown anything above average talent.

That is so not true. I love how fans always say this after the fact. He flashed at the Elite 11 camp and was highly recruited b/c of his talent in high school. His name had nothing to do with it, other than giving Miami a leg up b/c of his brother.

He finished 10th out of 11 QB's at The Elite 11 camp.

On top of that he looked terrible at The Under Armor game.

In reality, he was no better a prospect than Stephen Morris coming out of High School. He just has a better name and a football family background.

I'm not gonna even bother. Lol. Morris when we took him initially was considered to be a depth guy, he just ran into luck that Teddy didn't end up here.

Olsen way better prospect, this is beyond hilarious. Olsen was regarded as top 5-10 QB by all sites. He was no push over at all.

If anything, Morris overachieved here, can ask anyone way back, only thing people saw in Morris was an arm. Everyone looked at him as depth.

I dont understand how greg being a great tight end factors into his brothers ability to play quarterback and being highly recruited by numerous schools not named UM.

F***...

@smillerdegnan: .@GoldenAl really likes Heaps. He's talking now

Heaps winning this thing narrowly with Kaaya playing well is the best result.
Pretty much.

Redshirt Brad, let him learn the O and tear it up next year.

Ideally Olsen would have taken the bull by the horns, but unfortunately he hasn't. As has been stated there's a very good chance he transfers elsewhere if Kaaya is as good as advertised.

Not happening I'm seeing a Dorsey-Kenny Kelly situation here

We have to see which two QB's are eliminated after the first scrimmage before we have any clue as to who could start.

No, 25 QBs were at the event. He finished 10th.

Everyone is being quite hard on Olsen. I would be more concerned if a qb like heaps was doing worse than Olsen with all those starts under his belt.

Would be ideal if Heaps earns it. I'd play Kaaya though as backup. Get him some game time. Redshirt Allison next year.
