Does Golden have the Cojones to start a true freshman if he proves to be the clear cut best of the "eligible" bunch?

Follow-up:

Would you rather take your lumps this year with a true freshmen QB, and be set for the next 2-3 years, with highly ranked QB's coming after him?

Or play it safe and start Heaps until R.Will or Olsen are eligible to play.

At SAM I think to start they said, but I suspect he will end up in the middle and they will let DP do his thing.

Put Kirby in the middle, Owens Strong Side, Grace Weakside, and just let DP free-lance ala Ed Reed and straight Murk people.

If he outplays Heaps in camp you gotta start him IMO. We should win the coastal this year but 2015 is the year where were gunna have some serious talent, i want a QB who has some experience to lead that team. Doubt golden is thinking that far ahead tho

Good to hear. The experts on this board said we don't play a SAM and if we do Kirby has no instincts to play the SAM, lol.
