Proves the fact that we need an INDOOR facility...

These guys need to go play baseball if they cant handle some water

There's "handling water" vs improving the quality of practice.

What kind of work can be done during a torrential downpour?

Wouldn't you want them to be able to get done all that they have on their schedule or do you think it's better to be the best practiced "wet conditions" team in the nation?

The same work that was done for however many years before indoor facilities came along. How did they ever practice without them? And there is a obvious benefit of being familiar and comfortable in playing in your own weather. I just feel like this is the attitude thats forcing football to essentially become flag football. Football is soft now, just nut up and play through the rain for a few practices. Its not like teams who play in the rain win less games or something.

Is the amount and quality of work not diminished when practicing in pouring rain, with a wet ball and on a wet field as opposed to when practicing in dry conditions? IMO, and I think in most people's opinions, the answer is yes. So, if the answer is yes why wouldn't you do whatever is possible to put yourself in conditions that allow you to get the most work done? It has nothing to do with being soft and everything to do with getting as much accomplished as possible..

As a coach its your job to prepare your team for what the team is likely to face on saturday. Fronts, coverages, personnel groupings, motions ect ect. Weather is a part of that. If it rains quite a bit in miami then one would assume the players should be prepared for that, running to a indoor facility whenever it rains wont prepare them. The rain wont stop Duke from getting his pass protection down, Coley can still work on his routes, and Perryman can still work on his drops in coverage. I think your overestimating how much the rain hinders a practice.

Also, its **** good to hear Gray finally got in, cant wait to hear the noise he's gunna make at practice.
