Wyche don't look fat at all. Man looks like what we've been a missing my friends. Maybe, just maybe, the middle might be strong again. That mean everything. Wyche, DP, Young, and some menfolk at safety has a certain flavor of pain we have not dished out in a long, long time. If Tucker is switching to LB, him and Grace give us some speed at LB I thought Al had all but forgotten was Cane trademark. If he was playing fullback it would be a waste because we never run the FB any more. If the FB got carries like under Howard and JJ then fine, but it mostly blocks now. Got to go out for some Kool-aide; time to start getting excited.

Didn't UCLA have a LB who played RB/FB as well last year?

Just put him out there to block.

This isn't Pop Warner.

If you want a blocker use Dobard. Heck, bring in Sonny to block.
 
The Tucker move is odd, Al mentioned him at RB yesterday and looked like he could excel as a short yardage back. He was also under 220 in the spring, not sure how much he contributes at LB here.

Really? Because there have NEVER been successful two-way players in College Football?

He has the athleticism to do both (maybe not full time) but in some form or fashion.

So glad Gray finally made it. He worked his tail off and deserves it. Hope to see him at KR/PR, RB, WR, Wildcat...etc.
