Yep. And in recruiting, the great "insight" is pretty much what was in the OP. "As good a chance as any", "looks ok", "50/50", "we are looking good but others are making a play". I mean its all vague common knowledge stuff.

My guess from interacting with RW and OCF on message boards and the stuff that they post, is that their knowledge is more or less centered on the bigger issues that the program faces which leads me to believe they are possibly connected to someone(s) on the board of trustees that has interest in the athletic department. I take the recruiting information with a grain of salt.
I doubt anyone had a clue regarding Deon Bush and Tracey Howard recruitment last year. So any information regarding Thomas, Kirkland, AC etc., is just anybody's guess.

OCF has never been into recruiting info, so in that regard, yes, he was definitely a "big picture" "protect the U" kind of guy. RW though gets himself into every type of discussion. From Recruiting, to the coaching search, etc. So he may have a hook on the BOT, but it doesnt explain how much info he has on so many different areas if it was just that.

There is also his early days, before he evolved into a "big shot" flying around on private jets, I could honestly swear he was giving game breakdowns and saying he was a former coach.

He seems like an attorney to me. It was funny, UM started recruiting some player from NY (maybe Dominique Easley) and RW mentioned how he knew Easley's (or whoever it was) high school coach. That was in the same year that he knew just about every high school coach in Florida. lol, i'm sure.

I don't know this guy RW at all and I am not "protecting" him. I am sharing what I know. I could not care less what anyone thinks of this guy. I could not care less if anyone believes what I share. I'm just contributing what I know on the subject, which I believe. I'm not going to argue against anyone who has a different opinion.
