% chances per RW from Grassy

It was stated like he believed it was a fact.
i just disagree. The guy's a judge. He was always careful about what was fact and what was opinion, but he didn't go around defensively qualifying his opinions, either. You had to take the cue from context.

Not only is he a judge, but he's a federal judge. Difference between a federal judge and a state court judge is like the difference between Alabama's football team and Belen's team.

Yeah, I did all I could not to go there but agree completely.

Not always. The New York State Court of Appeals, when Cardozo was Chief Judge, was a highly-regarded court, and issued many decisions that define our law to this day, including the notorious Palsgraf.

Yep. And there was a great white sprinter a long time ago too.

This. Don't know personally but info was always good surprised he is not here

I'll also add that he went to Penn.

Other than that don't know much. He always came accross as reasonable, and his information may have been vague at times, but he was never flat out wrong on anything. I remember during the whole Gruden fiasco he kept saying that it wasn't happening.

Hmmm...is he an ex-athlete with a big gut?

If he went to Penn, that might mean he went to the Wharton School of Business. That would be consistent with a guy who was familiar with the stock market. I said before I believe he took his name from the book, "A Random Walk Down Wall Street."

Shirley you jest.

OFFTOPIC
This is from a former "insider" who was supposedly close to the board. For a bit now, I just found it odd that no one could verify his presence off the board. Nice guy and never had a problem with him, but I just found that odd. Every other "insider" known to the message board communities has at least a few people who have seen him/her in person.

I liked him as a poster on grassy. Don't know if he was for real, but he was clearly a smart dude, not an idiot troll. That was evident from text and syntax.

IF he is for real, he should be on this site, IMO.

But someone has to know him or it's hard to see how he's real.

Agree with the tail number suggestion. Probably public info somewhere.

Don't know if you were just kidding, but FlightAware made it interesting to watch Saban working SoFL hard last year. N1UA was the tail number. It has since been made unavailable for tracking.

Yup! It was probably the Bama BOT Paul Bryant Jr. aka Nevin Shapiro Jr. who did that..
It should be illegal to hide that information from the public, they use public airspace and most airports are funded by taxpayers..
Bryant Jr. is so secretive he evens hides his face on the BOT main page lol..

I went to that website and looked at the activity for Tuscaloosa Regional Airport. There's one plane that has made multiple flights into and out of Florida, mostly Palm Beach but some trips to OpaLocka and Tampa. How do you check on the ownership of a plane if you have a tail number?

Actually, the plane that keeps flying into and out of Florida is registered to the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services. More actually, it's a program of that Department that runs or licenses businesses run for the blind throughout the state. Now, why they need a plane, and why it needs to keep flying in and out of Florida, I don't know.

Here's the recent itinerary of this plane. Does anybody recognize locations of possible Alabama recruiting targets? I wonder if they're using a state rehabilitation plane for football recruiting?

Or could it just be related to the bowl game? I just don't understand why the Dept. of Rehabilitation Services program which runs snack bars for the blind needs a plane, and why it needs to keep flying in and out of Florida.

Check out starting with post #59 in the following thread: http://canesinsight.com/showthread.php?4350-Amari-Cooper/page2

I got a picture of the plane back in December 2011 when Saban was down here recruiting Amari Cooper/Deon Bush. Saban was definitely on that plane because people saw him get off.

Have you ever seen this plane? This is the other one I mentioned. I think it might be owned by a subsidiary of the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation and is located in Tuscaloosa. It kept flying in and out of Florida from Tuscaloosa.

I'd want to know if it's legal for such a state department to lend its plane for recruiting services. This is just surmise, and I might be all wet. I'd want to know if I have identified the owner of the plane that keeps flying in and out of Florida from Tuscaloosa, and why.

I doubt Saban's flying around in a prop.

It's a jet driving a prop. Not a bad way to make the distance to SoFL.

He did go to Wharton from my message board conversation with him.
