Looks good when pairing it with 24 which was loaded on defense

Our problem the last 20 years has been stacking classes. You can look back to each coach and see a horrific miss of a class (at least 1) and see why we kept having problems with depth chart
This 26 class will be critical to smoothing out everything. Up and down the lineup bring in difference makers.

If we can sure up the backend through the portal and we replace Guidry, I can start telling lies again 🥹

posts like this rub me the wrong way.

We have no idea if talent = good. We’re losing the best QB in America, our clear RB1, 3/4WRs, our only viable TE, starting center and LT/LG.

I’m not even mentioning Horton being tampered with to go home + a slew of other guys looking to potentially leave.

How is that a good thing?
This.

I'm not looking forward to the fallout unless that ****** Lance Bass Guidry is gone

26 class is loaded and we’ve been putting in work for them for years now. Been keeping an eye on that class for a while personally because these kids have been coming to games for 3+ years now

Who knows how it shakes out but the potential is all right there for us

Yep, it seems like the initial end game was the 26 class being a potential top 3 class.
But we need to do something on the field next year to cement that. Bring out more bags for the portal.

Yeah it’ll still come down to us making the right investments and that’ll take a while to figure out

We may have a lot of options but it’s gonna be a bloodbath as usual

No doubt the potential for the 26 class is huge and I would expect it to be great, unless there are some major **** ups.

The problem is this. You can NEVER compete for anything of real signifigance if you have a drop off in recruiting like this year. This is exactly how you don't bulid depth. And when you factor in Mario brings absolutely no value as an actual coach, and his staffs so far have been average at best, it makes the problem even more glaring.

Mario legitimately needs top 5 talent to win anything of real signifigance year in and year out and he will never accomplish that. His classes are always unbalanced and from his time at Oregon to now at Miami, he ends up having classes like this one. It's simply not good enough to make up for all the other deficiencies. I mean, he has lost 9 games as a double digit favorite going back to his Oregon games, by far the worst in the country. He is the epitome of doing less with more.

For guys even suggesting we fire Mario I’ll ask the question- who exactly is UM going to be able to hire that would do a better job of coaching or recruiting than Mario has done given the situation?? Lane (lol)? Lanning? Day? Any proven elite coach is going to cost a stupid amount of money to we’d have to overpay, and that still wouldn’t guarantee they’d come here. Mostly coming from people who don’t donate a dime.

Not sure about you all but I’m done with the “up and comer” or first time head coach experiment for a while. So, strap in, enjoy the ride, be realistic with where this program sits nationally, support our coach and enjoy the ride because the reality is we can’t do better right now. Instant gratification mindset needs to go, we’re on track for a nearly total rebuild.
