We have no idea if talent = good. We’re losing the best QB in America, our clear RB1, 3/4WRs, our only viable TE, starting center and LT/LG.

I’m not even mentioning Horton being tampered with to go home + a slew of other guys looking to potentially leave.

How is that a good thing?

It's a good thing that we're finally producing NFL players again.

Reload, develop and go again.

Ward was given a 5th round Draft grade last year, now there's talk of him going Top 5. That didn't happen in a vacuum.

Did you see our WR rotation toward the end of the year. That "talent" needs to show out. Outside of Horton, these are unproven players.

Fletcher and Lyle at RB is fine. Allen adds if he's here. I still think we need a Martinez replacement.

Interior OL was not as good this year. Carpenter, in the run game, I thought was pretty good. Guard play wasn't great as the year went on.

QB is a big question mark until we get our portal guy.

Offense has talent, sure...but also, tons of question marks currently.

Did you see our WR rotation toward the end of the year. That "talent" needs to show out. Outside of Horton, these are unproven players. We had a mostly- 3 WR rotation by season's end (X, George, Horton) - Brown had 5 snaps against Syracuse. None of the young players did outside of RayRay on returns.

Fletcher and Lyle at RB is fine. Allen adds if he's here. I still think we need a Martinez replacement.

Interior OL was not as good this year. Carpenter, in the run game, I thought was pretty good. Guard play wasn't great as the year went on. Bell needs to step up at LT, need to find a LG. I think Rodriguez can start at C here (supposedly the plan, but he'll start somewhere next year if not here)

Because we are losing our Top 2 WRs and currently, none of our young players have a statistical makeup that says they are ready to emerge and breakout next year.

ALL OF THEM. From JoJo to Ny to RayRay to whoever. Can Isaiah Horton be a WR1 in the ACC? Maybe. idk.

I bumped a post about Jacorey Brooks yesterday. Most here didn't want him. He would have been our WR2 by the end of this year.

If we had subpar play from George, X or Horton I’d understand the criticism of not playing more guys. But those three were consistent and productive all season long. I get the unknown factor of young guys, but to immediately dismiss them as not being good enough is a weird take for me.

I think ya'll are being too harsh on Bell. He struggled on a handful of reps against two elite pass rushers who will play in the NFL (Vtech guy & Diggs), in his first year out of JUCO (I DO NOT CARE ABOUT FAMU GAME, thanks). He's our LT next year, and I think he's going to do great.

I think ya'll are being too harsh on Bell. He struggled on a handful of reps against two elite pass rushers who will play in the NFL (Vtech guy & Diggs), in his first year out of JUCO (I DO NOT CARE ABOUT FAMU GAME, thanks). He's our LT next year, and I think he's going to do great.

Mario has his share of flaws, but coaching OLs is not one of them. I’ll trust his judgement over the boards in that regard.

Exactly. There is nobody proven at this level in any of those rooms. You would be basing it on high school tape/rankings. So do stars matter again now?

With Wiley signing, all of a sudden our defensive class is looking pretty good. Not sure what Mario told these kids about the future or if it was just upping the bag but whatever he did has worked.

Looks good when pairing it with 24 which was loaded on defense

Our problem the last 20 years has been stacking classes. You can look back to each coach and see a horrific miss of a class (at least 1) and see why we kept having problems with depth chart
