the QB position is a dumpster fire right now along with the defense.

the truth is that Morris is better than every single QB on our roster right now. could one of the freshmen end up better? sure but they aint there now.

I have seen some reasonable posts about the shortcomings of this program like the issues with the coaching staff from you and Wildcatoffense (or some ish like that).

But at the same time, others will post negative crap just for the sake of being negative. Almost as if they have an agenda. We have our own fans guaranteeing we get blown out by Louisville like we are some 1AA school (yes I still say 1AA). We have fans making videos showing how pumped they are for the season, then basically gets told to sit down and STFU by the same fan base. Like, "Wea dey do dat at". Thats something you would expect from another team's fan base. I keep seeing posts saying Golden has us in a worst spot then Shannon but have yet to see someone explain how with any kind of logic.

The qb we start will attempt 15-20 play action passes a game.
Hopefully half of those are screen passes to Duke or Yearby.

The rb's are going to get 40+ carries a game.

As long as we have a qb who can throw a screen, a wheel, a slant and an occasional deep out or post, we will be fine.

That'll work great because defenses won't start sitting on that nonsense. That's the sort of offense you play when you have the luxury of having a great defense.

No, you imbecile. That's not my "logic." My logic is that its not absurd to predict that a team that just beat the **** out of us is going to do it one year later, like you want it to be. If you can't see the difference between saying "team that blew us out in 2013 might do it again in 2014" and "team that blew us out in 2013 will never lose to Miami again" then maybe you need to go take a logic class at the local community college.

Duke Johnson doesn't read my post and go "hrm, yeah, I definitely need to work on my blocking!" I give my honest opinions. Please show me where I said you had to be an all star qb to be a fan. What I did say was "get your raggedy *** enrolled and lets see what you can do". We have worse skill position guys than last year and Morris was garbage. But I'm sure the guys who couldn't beat him out and the freshman are better than Morris.

Wow I apologize. I mean its my mistake. Your so right. Returning Stacy Coley, Duke Johnson, Herb Waters, Clive Walford, Rashawn Scott, Phillip Dorsett, Standish Dobard , Phillip DOrsett from a team that won 9 games is defintely worse than last year.

Yes, it is worse than last year. We had all of those guys last year and then lost Allen Hurns.

Got to disagree with this. We had all those guys but a lot of them missed time, including 2 of our most explosive in Dorsett and Johnson. Plus every one is a year older and has another year in Coley's offense.

I feel pretty confident in the skill position guys.

Ryan didn't beat out morris because morris played pretty well under fisch after that there was no way golden was going to bench him midway thru his senior year , williams is a game manager not a huge arm but , with stacy and dorsett and a back like duke he will get the job done

Ryan didn't beat out Morris because he wasn't as good as Morris.

Williams' backup is better than Williams and Morris though. That's how it works in Caneland.

Remember when Herb Waters was better than Phillip Dorsett last off-season?

Funny thing is that those same butt-sniffing clowns turned Dorsett into Jerry Rice as soon as he got hurt.

IMO Waters is the better WR, maybe not the same deep threat but brings more versatility.

This is what I was trying to reiterate to you earlier in this thread. Last year we had bad QB play from Morris. Most would agree that he underachieved especially after the finishing the season the way he did the year before. The defense was horrible but we were still able to win 9 games. That was in large part due to our skill positions on offense.
