That's why the early offer **** is a nonstarter. How early do we have to offer to get local 3 star midgets? Either you can sell (recruit) or you can't. Harley was offered plenty early. WVU just kicked our ***. That's all.

You offer everyone as a junior then you get stuck with 30 commits with a big handful of them maybe not being so good. Then you have to drop guys or get stuck taking marginal guys.

We need to evaluate better and recruit better. Whatever our style or pitch is it's not working all that well.

Exactly. And when WE drop local kids the reaction from the community is akin to us having raped their grandmothers. Grandpa Puke hits the airwaves, local corches "ban" us from campuses, etc. Obviously a competent to elite staff can and should overcome the dynamics of this area but mannnn is this place an effing cesspool of leeches, frauds and spineless kids only overshadowed by their equally spineless and disloyal parental figures.

You guys do realize that a "scholly" to Morgantown has about the same retail value as one to FIU. Jesuchristo, any sane person would rather live on campus in West Miami than god**** Morgantown. Morgantown seriously makes effing Gainesville seem like Paris.

It's outright pathetic when you can't land a three-star receiver from your own backyard in a battle against f***ing West Virginia. And the staff deserves 100% of the blame on this one when they initially prioritized both Rodney Scott & Kevaughn Dingle while dragging their feet on Harley, refusing to offer until November.

WR recruiting is laughably inept. Unacceptable.

I don't think people are freaking out about losing one kid. It's the constant losses in recruiting that have people on edge and this is the straw that broke the camel's back.
