Nah, I'm up.

With his next pick, Sands selects Brandon Linder, OG.

If Lu can take O. Franklin on potential, I will take Linder, who's on his way to being one of the smartest, most technically sound and best OL we've had in a long time. He's got the size to play inside, and can move. He's big enough to rotate to RT if need be. And he's already had a lot fewer holding calls than O. Franklin. And he came to UM as one of the highest rated OL we've signed in a long time.

And while there's a healthy amount of projection on this one, I do think he will be a good pro, which has been part of what I'm looking for.

And I like having two guys on my roster I can watch this year.

Sands selects Todd Sievers. He holds the record for points scored by a kicker in a season at UM, and in fact racked up two of the three best seasons ever by a kicker at UM.

I'm keeping him. Any Safety I take now will be less effective than Mike Rumph at FS, I think, so I'll just stick.

Just so we can move this along really quick...because, I'd like to finish this thing tonight...and when he comes online he can make two picks...I'll just make my picks now, it'll be OL, so, he is not taking anyone Lu otherwise would have taken...

Tackle combo from the early-mid 80's...

Paul Bertucelli...the "Jason Fox before Jason Fox was born" of Miami football. Protected the blindside for three seasons. Very strong pass blocker.

solid pick this late in the game. If not for injuries, he would have been an AA here. Before his knee injury, he was considered one - if not the - best cover corners in the country.
