I realized that pretty lateI don’t think the poster was serious
Saw a similar type of post last year tbh about a guy named wardAm I the only one not sold on Mateer? Have you guys seen him outside of highlights? He makes a lot of dumb throws. I saw him in person game against a bad Mountain West team throw an end zone pick into triple coverage and if it weren't for crap DBs should have had 2-3 more. He makes really bad decisions. He should run more it's his best trait but thinks he has Cam's arm and can make tight window throws he can't. That offense was best when it was schemed up for him or he scrambles. He will go to Oklahoma if he's smart for the bag and to stay with that offense that knows his strengths and weaknesses and makes him look good when it's schemed correctly. The bad throws are REALLY bad.
If he can do it again then we need to pay whatever it takes to keep Dawson.Saw a similar type of post last year tbh about a guy named ward
When you play with better talent it has a way of helping those type thingsAm I the only one not sold on Mateer? Have you guys seen him outside of highlights? He makes a lot of dumb throws. My only rebuttal to this would be why are they losing their entire offense if the skill guys had a feeling he was coming? Wouldn’t they stay? Unless OU is cleaning house on offense and letting Mateer pick his own offensive skill guys? Which could be true if they are really going all in and handing him the keys.I posted earlier that the smart business decision points to Miami. But, I have a strange feeling he has been committed to OU for quite some time now.
Can we overcome that initial commitment? I sure hope so.
Penn State has an enrollment well over 100k when you factor in their satellite campuses. They have nowhere near the top collective/nil in the country. Not many teachers making 60k a year are going to be donating to some 18 year olds dodge charger fund.I just refuse to believe any of these large state schools that are also historic programs with massive fanbases have trouble coming up with money. Every bit of that feels like a hedge in case guys just don’t want to be there.
Feel like Lofton will give us that side of arroyo.
he was likely fed up with the merry go round of playing , getting benched; playing again...No coach/school pushes out QBs with Arnold's physical attributes and potential.
Cam was a day four draft pick before he came to Miami. Plenty of concerns before he got here. We all know how that played out.Am I the only one not sold on Mateer? Sounds about right. They released everyone on offense to pay him, lol

i would be shocked if that number is accurate. Would make more sense if that’s the total over 2 years.
