You won’t find a bigger Cam Ward fan than me over the past 3 years, so I don’t want this to sound like a slight.
Mateer may be more valuable at the college level. Cam will have a better NFL career, but Mateer’s ability and play style can single handedly carry teams to wins. We saw it this year at Wazzu. He can be a one man offense, but you give him this offensive line, running backs, and real receivers and I really think we could be looking at Jayden Daniels numbers.
