True…. but if we had their staff and were to sign the classes and rank where WSU recruiting classes are normally ranked… while taken a chance on unknown QB from a school like Incarnate Word… most if our fans would be ****tin’ bricks.

If I understand correctly, Mateer isn't required to make his decision now. I suppose with half the WSU starters already in the portal, it's a question of personal safety. But even if he plays in the bowl game, that doesn't mean he can't hit the portal within a few days after it's over.

He said specifically he is making his decision this weekend. His sister has graduation today so he is with his family and making a decision.

WSU 247 has said he is torn and they have put together a package they didn’t think they could. With that said, I don’t think that will be at the OU and Miami side.

I think the decision will have to come down to Playoffs, getting on the radar of the NFL, and having the best season possible (awards, statistics, etc.).

It really comes down to following the path Cam has already laid out and a better situation, or following your coach to a school relatively closer to home.

Idk how it shakes out at all, but I idk how anyone of his status would prefer OU to us based on last year and next years potential.

We will know in the next few days. He’s going to announce his intentions.

Crappy or not, it is a HUGE risk. A competitor might enjoy taking a big roll of the dice, but it could easily end up like F$U 2024.

Riley is definitely more of a traditional TE than Arroyo is. Arroyo one of these new wave type TEs that are more WR than anything
