True…. but if we had their staff and were to sign the classes and rank where WSU recruiting classes are normally ranked… while taken a chance on unknown QB from a school like Incarnate Word… most if our fans would be ****tin’ bricks. How many **** kids do we need to get from WSU?
Can we get their coaches in the portal?
Kiko, Cam, the 2 or 3 we're apparently targeting including Mateer.
They have an actual eye for evaluation and development.
That's the real power move.
it will be a better basketball conference because they new pac 12 will have San Diego State and Gonzanga.Oregon St and Washington St got royally fvcked by USC and Big 10.
Oregon St got absolutely raided last year, lost their alum HC to Michigan St of all places and honestly I don’t think they ever will recover. Going from Rose Bowls and Fiesta Bowls to being behind Boise St, San Diego St, and probably Fresno St in the PAC 12.
Washington St looks like it will be same boat. Losing the guy who was Mateer’s QB coach this year and was going to be OC next year to OU where he is going to be analyst is brutal.
I think hardest piece to replace is Arroyo, we dont have anything similar in pipeline as weapon.. Thats a key chess piece also.I agree on OL for sure. WRs outside of Horton are all unproven. Trust me i hope he comes to UM just saying it's gna be a different look skill wise than it was this yr
Some are extremely high on riley williams. Excited to see him get a bigger role but he def doesn't have the ridiculous speed Arroyo had. Wish we got a few full healthy seasons out of arroyoI think hardest piece to replace is Arroyo, we dont have anything similar in pipeline as weapon.. Thats a key chess piece also.
And Arnold either got pushed out or realized his potential is best maximized at a bottom feeder SEC school with his old OC.it will be a better basketball conference because they new pac 12 will have San Diego State and Gonzanga.
Mateer cant go to Oklahoma imo if he wants to get to national recognition. Jackson Arnold was a highly coveted kid who they pushed Gabriel out for and he had no wr's and an OL that almost got him killed. what is different next year?
We need to cast a wide net to haul the big fish in…So a second thread on Mateer
Welcome to life as a Baltimore Orioles fan.Whilst I'm hardly thrilled to be a Canes fan after the last two decades, imagine being a fan of Washington St et al now the Transfer Portal means your roster is stripped bare of any good players every December / January.
This is the new way. Recruiting is all encompassing. How many **** kids do we need to get from WSU?

Riley is definitely more of a traditional TE than Arroyo is. Arroyo one of these new wave type TEs that are more WR than anythingSome are extremely high on riley williams. Take off the green and orange sun glasses our offense is far from stacked. We only have about 3 players returning on offense thats proven anything at this levelIf I’m that kid, the choice is simple, I’m headed to Miami. The opportunity here speaks for itself. Just look at what Miami did for Cam, the NIL money, his production on the field, the endorsements, and how the program boosted his name recognition. Miami set him up for life, and that’s the type of system I’d want to be a part of.
On top of that, Miami’s offense is stacked. A massive O-line, a solid ground game, depth at wideout, and we’re rocking the number one offense in the country? C’mon, that’s a no-brainer. If I’m looking to shine and secure my future, I’m hitting the portal and putting on that orange and green.
I’m ready to see the legend of Elija Lofton.Riley is definitely more of a traditional TE than Arroyo is. Arroyo one of these new wave type TEs that are more WR than anything
Big fan of Riley though but yeah can’t really compare him and Arroyo
Can she set the edge, too?can she play cb?
**** that can she manage timeouts??Can she set the edge, too?

I think Williams is more of that big-bodied (not saying he's anywhere near as good!) Gronk type TE who boxes out people. He's clearly fast enough too based on his play the first two years. Some are extremely high on riley williams. CIS has lost its edge.**** that can she manage timeouts??
