My problem is not that Mateer chose OU, they were the favorite for a reason and I can see why he chose them, I’m just worried about the Mateer or bust strategy.

And even if he could be only marginally better than what we already have, I think you can sell him to potential transfers WRs.

The thing that worries me the most about Emory is that he is a statue and you cannot have that luxury nowadays, no matter how good your OL is.
