I only ask because you seem to offer reasoned responses. Horton is a good #2 WR to have. If we can get a no brainer #1 I think we would have a stronger argument. Noise has died down about Cooper entering the draft, but we could be replacing as many as 4 OL for next year. I believe Mario is vastly more likely to rebuild an OL in 1 year than Venables. That being said I don't think it's as easy as Mateer saying Miami OL is better present day.View attachment 313763
I know we’re assuming Brown and Martinez leave. I’m not convinced that would be the best move for either but we’ll see.
But as mentioned in my other comment, Isaiah Horton by himself makes up roughly 75% of Oklahoma’s returning production. And the offensive line discrepancy Is basically as large as possible.
