Guys having great careers and GRADUATING are not the same thing as losing almost your entire WR corps to the Portal.

First, it is an indication that you are putting WRs in a position to stay and develop and succeed. Second, it is an indication that the players in the program do not hate their situations enough to leave.

Trader and Carr and others are next in line. They know the system. It's not the same as bringing in an entire new WR corps and then hoping they will all blend in.

Imo there’s more here to be sold than the mess at OU. This is his money year and it’s all business , it would be foolish to not at least entertain what he could do here. I’m not sure people realize the money potential at Miami if you’re a high level athlete.

Even with losing X and Jacolby, look at Dawsons track record. Look at what he had with Tank Dell. Then having X go back to back 1K yards. So he knows WR talent and how to use it.

If we can land CJ Daniels and Eric Rivers (FIU WR I think that's his name) that's the cherry on top of all the things we have better here than OU.

While in high school he also watched another qb from a town 30mins away put up huge numbers and is now in the NFL in Dawson offense.

Maybe it’s just me and I didn’t use Google correctly but can’t seem to find the Travis Hunter or Ashton Jeanty Equivalence of the Adidas promotions/commercial and the Bose headphones just to name two until yesterday when Travis signed with adidas, something cam got months ago

The Ward factor is huge not just from the obvious, but also on ensuring him that our system is going to be putting him in the best place to succeed and that Dawson/MC are great coaches.

The one main advantage OU has is the coach and the familiarity with the offense. Ward can try to mitigate that advantage by showing him how similar it is to his offense, how quickly he was not only able to learn it, but make it his own, and how much the rest of the offensive personnel here, epecially the OL, helped take that offense from middle of the league to #1 in the nation.

I wonder if Mario’s approach is spending a bag to add a qb like like , and making small additions to the defensive room. Maybe he feels with better coaching we can get that unit to be average, and we can still win 10+ games
