"Several clear advantages on paper". I won't name them, but you should just believe me...

WHAT are these "several clear advantages"?

There is ONE. The fact that Oklahoma hired the Washington State OC.

Other than that...nada. Oklahoma had a terrible year. Venables is on the hot seat. Multiple offensive players have already Portaled out, including most of the WRs.

But...what again? "Several clear advantages on paper"?

Make a list. It will be a short list.

I laughed when I saw that lol. Apparently their board is not that optimistic about Mateer…especially knowing they have to battle us to get him

If Mateer goes to OU, he is putting A LOT of faith in them able to rebuild that OL on the fly,

They almost got Jackson Arnold killed, they broke the will of the freshman QB Hawkins
Cam needs to walk in with the O’Brein award and the picture of his pocket from WF game. If the name of the game is putting yourself in the best position to reach the league, the answer is crystal clear.

Going to be as objective as I can here:

Oklahoma:
+ SEC (barf but that's how ppl view it)
+ previous OC
+ close to his hometown
- losing a lot to portal on offense
- had **** oline and wrs ti begin with
- brutal schedule to play against
- Venables has never produced a QB

Miami:
+ Cam Ward just became top 3 pick and heisman contender, coming from the same school
+ #1 offense in the country
+ tough schedule but not overmatched
+ great oline
+ good offensive weapons (and may get better)
+ Defense that will cause absolutely shootouts
- ACC (barf at this notion again...)

Logically, this is not even close fellas. So hopefully he makes a brain based decision, and not an emotional one.

It’s his money year…gotta make it a business decision

I'm optimistic about Mateer. Moreso after reading that update. Our coaches haven't blinked at any of the QBs who jumped into the portal we've been arguing about. Makes no sense unless they're confident they can land a QB who hasn't entered the portal yet who's better. The leak to Gaby that the coaches are considering rolling with Emory I don't believe is true. That they wanted it out there sure, but as a credible outcome, it's 100% unbelievable to me.

You know if they lose him to Miami then it was all about the $$$. NIL is ruining CFB, Miami are cheaters, yada yada yada.

Not that they have a ****** coach who they gave a ridiculous extension to just because they wanted him to be in the top tier of salary in the SEC.

Or that they will be on there 5th OC in 6 years (Riley, Lebby, Littrell, Finley, Arbuckle)
