Not the fact Miami has a solid ol with plenty of weapons . I’m sure cam is telling him this

+ Cam Ward just became top 3 pick and heisman contender, coming from the same school
+ #1 offense in the country
+ tough schedule but not overmatched
+ great oline
+ good offensive weapons (and may get better)
+ Defense that will cause absolutely shootouts
- ACC (barf at this notion again...)

Logically, this is not even close fellas. So hopefully he makes a brain based decision, and not an emotional one.

Well another negative for us is as of today we have lost 3/4Top WRs and our TE all to draft/graduation.
I think we are relatively still far better than OU and I expect the portal to help out for sure. But just if we are fully being objective I’d add that

There is ONE. The fact that Oklahoma hired the Washington State OC.

Other than that...nada. Oklahoma had a terrible year. Venables is on the hot seat. Multiple offensive players have already Portaled out, including most of the WRs.

But...what again? "Several clear advantages on paper"?

I’ve always thought Miami had a better chance than most. Even if it’s 50 -50. I never got those saying “why even bother , it’s a waste of time”. Imo that’s a losers mentality. Why wouldn’t you wait for the best qb at the most important position in football?

I mean all we’ve talked about for two years was Mario needed a qb to change the narrative being sold against him and Cam did that. Also this isn’t some random qb , this is Cam’s backup he has a relationship with from a previous school. The backup who watched Cam rise to national fame playing here. Racking up huge numbers , getting a Heisman invite and shooting up draft boards. Oh and did I mention big NIL money ?

Imo there’s more here to be sold than the mess at OU. This is his money year and it’s all business , it would be foolish to not at least entertain what he could do here. I’m not sure people realize the money potential at Miami if you’re a high level athlete.
 
Look at the endorsements Cam got since being at UM. Clothes, fragrance, Bose headphones. He's Willie Beaman.

Even with losing X and Jacolby, look at Dawsons track record. Look at what he had with Tank Dell. Then having X go back to back 1K yards. So he knows WR talent and how to use it.

If we can land CJ Daniels and Eric Rivers (FIU WR I think that's his name) that's the cherry on top of all the things we have better here than OU.
