WR Barion Brown

This.

I know we need a lot but I'm dumping all the money into a QB, 1 stud WR, 1 stud safety, 1 stud DT, and 1 stud CB.

5 of the best in the portal and then whatever is left for depth.
Purdue safety is a game changer for us.

I think stud 1 wr and someone else competent. I have seen enough from beard that I trust he can have trader, ny Carr, and even chance ready for next year.

So... we find ourselves in the exact same spot as last yr? Gonna miss out on talent because of our current qb situation?

Not even trying to be a mope but... wouldn't this year actually be worse because last yr at least we had the OC and DC spots solidified. Now we don't know what Mario is going to do with Guidry.

It’s not moping, or at least it shouldn’t be considered that. It’s a logical assumption. Just because it isn’t ignoring the elephant in the room and sunshine pumping, doesn’t mean it’s moping.

But I wish you luck on your journey lol.

Agreed 100%. Spend the money on guys you KNOW will start and elevate the team.

Precisely.
Sorta that but I would blame the staffs portal approach/talent evals more so the reason, UF has lagway AND money and missed on all their WR flip targets and they so far just like us dont seem to have traction with transfer WR recruits or any transfers rn for that matter.

I think both Billy and Mario are just slow as **** on portal urgency or too picky for evals.

I was about to say. Filling one or both coordinator spots would be brutal on top of finding the qb he wants.
